This will be remembered for 100 years.
Replacing a premiership coach for a mate of the president to take over.
Not only was that a youngest premiership team in 2010 but he will leave Collingwood worse off then the day Tony Shaw resigned in 1999.
Collingwood are the dumbest football club

Only 2 first round selectings in the draft between 2015-2019 Quaynoor and Stephenson, all the rest traded out for Beams and Treloar.

There list management under Buckley is disgraceful

24, 30 and a 4th for their 1st.

We didn't have those picks, would have probably needed to be 20, Saints 2nd 2021 and a 4th for the 1st.

I'm not sure anyone expected the Pies to be this bad, probably expected to be around Pick 10, Geelong around Pick 13-14 which we paid Pick 20 for.

We have won 3 flags out of the last 4 and the media is marking the end for us but a bloke that took over a premiership quality team has left them worse off then Fitzroy in there final year has the media peddling excuses for him.
If i hear that Buckley is a good coach again it might be the last time i listen to these jerk offs.
He isn't a good coach.

I’ve got no issue with them praising him as a good coach if it gets him another contract at the CFC!

He has absolutely destroyed that list.
Even if they got Clarkson. Clarkson would struggle with the duds on that list.

Korda on radio tonight made rookie President error of trying to explain the crap onfield performance and how certain players return will turn them around.

Has Peggie written a book he can learn from?

I'd say they are setting the narrative to get rid of Grundy myself. He is clearly not happy at the moment, and I reckon the Pies would love to offload him in the same manner as Treloar. Of course, they are going to be on the hook for part of his contract, but some other team, notably Adelaide I would guess, with lots of cap space, will be interested.

Youngest Collingwood side for three years on Sunday. IMO Buckley will be judged on progress from here. They're not going to threaten the finals with 11 blokes under 30 games.

Given the quality of their young players, I reckon they are clearly in tank mode.

Buckley will get a contract extension if he delivers a top 3 pick.
