The Draft/SC PRE ROUND 1 trade thread.

U2, back on the first page of this thread u say we need to work out our positions? i havent done this before so do u mean back pocket-full back- back pocket etc with the players we have selected as our defenders and so on?

or do u just have a generic back six?

so for the mids u have wingers and a centre and ruck rover and a rover? gee that sounds old fashioned.
 
and is this thread now, just for muck ups? like if u had too many of one sort and not enough of another, or if u took an injured player?

Mate,

do you know the Herald Sun Supercoach comp at all?( just like the dreamteam)

if not then we may be in trouble.

To be able to make a team on SC, you need to choose

9 backs
8 midfielders
4 rucks
9 Forwards

and you need to do that and stay under $10,000,000 as well.

Basically in this comp - on here we have just conducted a draft so no one has the same player anyone else has.

so the list you drafted you need to have players as per the numbers above. If you don't you won't be able to make a team on SC.( thats why I am concerned all players stick to that) the whole thing will not work unless all 16 teams can input there team on SC.



Please confirm - you are able to input your current team on SC. I will give the league code when all final team lists are posted on here by thursday ( as per rules)

You can sign up to SC now if you want, not using a email address yuo may have already used if your in another league.

You can go on now and do your team, and when I give the league code to you, you will be then able to move over to the Comp league.

the only reason I was talking about replacing injured players, is a courtesy thing so we all have fit players going in.
 
Yeah might be better if Sixpack registers now and puts in his team, so he can get a better idea.

C. Dawes is back on U2tigers list again. J. Edwards remains in U2tigers backline.

J. White was however traded in - H. Minson was delisted. ;D

you can trade, however will have to choose a player that is in the available player pool on here.

you have only 20 trades as per SC though.

I think it will be challenging to trade through the season as you will only have the "Players Pool" - usually with regular SC you have about another 680 players to choose from, whereas here we have already "reserved 480", leaving just 231, with a good number of those being Rookies anyway :p.

There are handful of decent Mids still available - Rucks are virtually non-existent, along with Fwds and some fringe Defenders still exist. :pullhair

It will be a tricky, low scoring comp, with the best teams getting well ahead of the others I think - but hey, isn't that what it is really like - you have your squad and you make the most of it, win, lose or draw!
 
If someone picks up 3 or 4 key injuries they will be ####ed especially if it includes a couple of ruckmen.
 
Lmao.I cant believe this.U2 you stuffed up with Chad Cornes on the draft list.You had him as a mid yet on the SC site they have him as a Def.I,ve checked the mid list and i cant use him as a mid.

Therefore considering i,ve had to alter my side once already.Can i re-draft Jarrod Crouch who i delisted in the trade thread and delist Adam Harlett and move Chad Cornes into defence?

Dont worry about it U2.Had another look.Cornes can be used as a mid lol
