Team vs Eagles [Merged]

I edited my post a bit Wild. I don't have a clue about Mark's situation but I'm certainly very concerned due to the way he's been treated. Hopefully he has the qualities a hard man like Hardwick would admire and value in the team.
i think you`re spot on rosy about hardwick liking cogs` qualities ie:hardness, competitiveness.

just needs to show a bit against the eagles and i think hardwick may keep him.

thank christ this will be the last time we see a host of these players play for richmond.
edwards being the main one.

bring on the final siren!

I'd agree. Sadly, I think it's rightly so too.

Rubbish. If it is Cog's last game I will spew up.

After investing so much in him over the last 6 or 7 years, and he has finally gone a few games without being injured, why wouldn't we offer him another year to see what he can do. Otherwise it's just a waste. We don't have to pay him a mint afterall.

I would much rather it be the last game for any of
- Silvester
- Simmonds
- Brown
- Mcmahon
- Polak (sorry)
- even Tuck

Would've like to have seen some of the younger players who are likely to be de-listed get a game or those who are on shaky ground. We know what we're going to get with Brown and Simmonds, they should've been retired last week and they will not be around in 2010.

Will Deledio be captain this week think Lids & Moore are in the leadership group along with Newman & Foley?

It's on the RFC web site that Lids will be captain

He also likes players that can kick.

No sentiment in football.

Going to be a few farewells this week.

This is the one legitimate 'tanking game' in a whole season in my opinion. Let's hope we don't farewell the 3rd draft pick!

Just saw the WA media flies hounding Cuz again. This time he walked past them with Richmond colours. ;D

I think you might be on the money Rosy.

Good stuff...congrats Lids. Pretty good achievement for a 22 year old. Pity his team will get a pumping in his first game as captain.

Playing Cogs at a big ground like Subi where run is essential should be enough to expose his lack of speed.
Looks like he's being set up.
Fletcher and he might play on each other - that would be an even contest.

The game has gone past Cogs. Too slow and is a shocking kick.

Good luck to Mark Coughlan and sincerely hope that he has a blinder and shows that he is not washed up yet as an AFL Footballer.

Do what you do best Cogs. Get under the packs, win the hard ball and dish it out to Lids, Tambling and Cuz.

If Simmonds isn't convinced yet the game has passed him by, Natanui jumping on his head all day should do the trick.

Glad I have Natnaui in my Supercoach grand final ;D

outside Tuck, I wouldn't be surprised if all of those gents play their last game with us tomorrow night, and even with that, I'd still have cogs a 50:50 chance of playing on at best
