Team v Werribee

I'm watching our midfield group with interest. None of them run defensively anywhere near hard enough. The corridor is wide open and they are meandering 5 metres behind their players.
Great call. Hence why some aren’t getting a look in at senior level.

Some tough love needed by Morris at half time. It’s an insipid performance by a team full of AFL listed players.
Lets be honest. The only reason Morris has the job is because they are paying him peanuts. What could Morris possibly teach these young players. We have gone feom Mcrae to Morris. That says it all really and why our youngsters are not developing

What's the game plan? just bomb it and hope. No composure, whereas Werribee look composed, have an attacking game plan. Also, use the centre corridor a lot without any resistance from our boys.

What a terrible half of football. Hopefully it's just a case of post-bye blues. If not we've got some dark days ahead at RFC.

Hopefully Bauer as target can build better composure when attacking in future games.

I love Stacky but sweet Lord Baby Jeebus he's been a passenger tonight.

1 kick and free kick against for a net total of 0 points at HT.

At least we have a *smile* load of available spots on our list next year.
Edwards Jack Cotchin Caddy all retired
Stack Collier Dawkins Farts Castagna Ross all delisted

I counted 4 times in 2-3 minutes kicking it straight to the opposition from our backline. Sure it happened 10 times in the quarter. Just woeful. Sampson's playing well, really the only positive.

This is what worries me - we need some better coaches ASAP

My concern is that this lack of alertness will be followed by the senior team as we have been notoriously lethargic after byes.

Ryan outstanding that quarter. Putting his hand up. @Dyer'ere right again.

Not many others worth mentioning. Brown and Miller have been pretty good down back. Ross is getting it but butchering it. Young ok.

Mate clunked his first opportunity then seems to have forgotten you're allowed to put your arms up when the ball is kicked in your direction. Long way off. Stack, Bauer, Cumbers (before last-second goal) can't get near it. Terrible delivery doesn't help.

Someone give the commentators a record so they can tell who's who. So far they've called Sonsie Bauer and Banks. Brown has been called Banks and Mansell, and RCD has been called Ross and Martyn.

And people were talking about bringing Stack in. Shouldn't even be playing 2s on tonight's game. He'll never live up to his potential, doesn't have the desire.
