TEAM CHANGES - wce

What are you actually agreeing with? Matty was in the top 5, along with Rance, for most effective kicks last night. 9 out of 10 were effective. That's hardly terrible disposal.

At least Whitey and Jacko will get the hard ball. They don't get a lot of support from the receivers at times.

got to agree with white thought he used the ball well and ran the lines, not sure why people are having a go at him, was happy with his game...
On jackson well 6 costly turnovers which resulted in 2 goals to the opposition....Simmonds too had 6 turnovers which resulted in 2 goals.....

Rance was very good, 4th highest for super coach for the tiges on 92 pts, 17 possies and no clangers...
Ive said all along this is his first yr in the 1's cut him some slack....he will be a player, still 19.

Deledio looked pretty sore at the end and I wouldn't be surprised if he misses. Thirsty is out. Cousins in doubt. Graham may have played his last. Ditto Brown whose lack of pace at Subiaco mightbe a huge problem. Assuming Cousins plays.
Maybe, In Collins, Post, Schulz and Vickery.
Out Brown, Cousins, Graham and Thurstfield.

B Polo Mcguane Moore
HB Schulz Rance Edwards
C Collins Jackson Mcmahon
HF Nahas Post Riewoldt
F Newman Vickery Morton
R Simmonds Tambling Tuck
Res Deledio Polak Thompson White
Em Coughlan.

why no-one brings up edwards is a mystery to me.
he is quite clearly the worst player in the league.
does absolutely nothing every week yet rawlings still plays him and our supporters are silent on him.

what does he bring to the team?
can anyone name anything?

yes, players like white, jackson and mcguane turn the ball over but at least they bring something to the
team with their hardness.

i hope that last night was his last game ever for richmond.

nothing every week?? mmmm. i would disagree.
he is a skinny kid, who is learning to give run from defense, and doing an ok job. his skills are up and down. defensively i reckon he has done ok too. needs to improve in all areas, but there is no reason to suggest he wont.

Methinks you haven't seen any games for the last 2 or so months. Edwards has provide good run from defence and yes he does tackle fairly well for his size unlike McMahon.

Do we actually have anyone left worthwhile to play - Putt not ready, Schulz cant even comment on that one, Conners has no interest, Browne / Gilligan rookies, Post / Vickery are probably done for the year, Silvestor I think they have seen enough of him. Is there anyone else??? Its shocking that we are in this state.
Wormy
I would suggest playing those who are playing for their career - Hislop, Coughlan, N Brown, Simmo, Hughes, Schulz, possibly Conners, Moore, McMahahon (as well as fatten up his trade value to now struggling Saints!), JON (although I suggest papers long stamped), Thomson. Rest some kids. The new coach would have been appointed before the game, so he can have a good look at those in doubt.
And with Freo winning (havent seen final score), we would get a slightly earlier draft pick.

Out: McMahon, Graham, Thomson, Brown (all ommitted) Jackson (inj), Newman (Inj), Thursfield (inj),
In: Vickery, Post, Silvester, Raines, Hughes, Schulz, Cogs.
B: Moore Silvester Edwards
HB: Polo McGuane Raines
C: Tuck Deledio Tambling
HF: Morton Post Reiwoldt
F: Nahas Hughes Cousins
R: Simmonds Coughlan White
Int: Schulz. Rance. Polak. Vickery
Geez that sides ordinary.

I agree with Zipper about White. I have no idea why he's playing. He adds absolutely nothing to the team. Terrible disposal, no creativity or flare, gets caught with the ball... Argh.

Ahhh the FAST DUD eh.

Ordinary and agree not up it and not what the RFC wants going forward.

Shocking disposal, poor smarts no composure.

Equates to not AFL quality.

Take the blinkers off Craig ;D

Bit late in my book for *smile* to be given a crack at it for one last game. Hughes probably the same, but if I had to choose between the two of them, I'd pick Cleve.

McMahon should be dropped and told to disappear once and for all. I suppose they will select Simmonds and Brown, farewell games for both and that may apply to Coughlan as well.

We'll just have to wait and see what the Match Committee decide with whom they will put on the park.

Thankfully its the last match of what's been nothing short of a disasterous season for Richmond.

You'd have to think that this is the last game for a few players..

I wonder if they have been given the opportunity to pull the pin this week (presser if warranted etc.) before the end of the season or whether they will simply try their luck in the drafts?

I'd love to see anyone play who hasn't played yet.
We have used 40 players so far this year so there are not many left that haven't played this year and even fewer that haven't played at all.

Hard to fault that claw....at least pick 3 would be coming our way.

Should play Schulz Gilligan Gourdis & Hughes we have played 40 players so far surely we can play every player on our list get Johnson back for a farewell game also because he didn't play in 2009 ;D ;D
