You mention Pyke and I'm surprised he's not copping more over this loss and the whole implosion of the club since. He presides over all this, yet he's apparently immune from criticism. He was part of the Power Ranger stance, but distanced himself from it when it went tits up.zippadeee said:

Jughead is just displaying the mental & physical disintegration that we visited upon them. Some teams don't bounce back from GF failure e.g. Freo & WCE my tip is we have put the skids under the Crows, Geelong & GWS...... the future looks rosy so long as we don't get full of ourselves.

The headline in the Advertiser following their prelim win was 'the flag is now a formality'. Such sheer arrogance is unfathomable to me!
The crows believed in their own publicity and drunk their own kool aid. They lacked any proper leadership to keep them focused and have respect for their opponent.
That ridiculous Power Rangers schtik was symptomatic of their hubris!
Truly a shocking indictment of Tex, Pyke and their club as a whole.
