Sydney Stack

Quiet, but absolutely love the way he plays.

The lockdown was tough for everyone, but especially so first and second year players who started from a long way back to begin with.

Gotta be forgiving of his fitness levels at this time.

He obviously isn’t fit . There has been 2 games in 2020 and he has been poor in both . Really struggled on Thursday and was caught spectating often

Yep. We've got depth. We should use it. Reward players who put the work in. Stack can work on his fitness and come back later.

Surprising thing is, he's dating the AFLW B & F, surely that is motivationg for him. You'd think he'd aspire to being the best footballer in the relatinship, and that Conti would be pushing him. Unless I've missed a memo, and it's all over?

At the risk of upsetting any AFLW fans, maybe he was training with her.

Unprecedented times. He had a lot to catch up on to be an AFL player. There's no surprise at all a kid like him who seems to run on emotion would have trouble with the discipline needed.

Let's revisit in a couple of months and see where he's at. Plenty of other big name players have gone missi g this round.

Whatever is going on off field with Syd I just hope he gets his footy back together cause his best is amazing.

I agree he’s been a shadow of the hungry talent last year. Definitely doesn’t look fit.

Is certainly best 22 if he gets there but up to him. That said I like him better in the back half. Still think it was a mistake to move him last year forward when we did.

The AFL is too professional to tolerate those that won’t put in the yards no matter how talented they are. Plenty have talent.
Come on Stackman knuckle down & don’t be a one season wonder.

Still building his tank.

Sadly that is an Oxymoron in Syd's case. I were staggered that the club said that Stacky had done enough in pre-season to earn the bonus package attributable to the pre-season incentive clause in his new contract, everything to me pointed otherwise and his fitness has gone downhill from there.

Look I have no problem with someone needing to build their tank if that is in fact what they are trying to do, (therein lies my frustration).

Will be very, very surprised if he gets a gig this week.

Of course none of this precludes me from jumping back on the Bandwagon if he gets his act together :)) .

Dimma will certainly let home if he's going slack or not performing needs that instinctively again and he's a hbf .

Every player will have a different reaction or coping mechanism with all the cr@p that's happened of late. Yeah he had a bad game and so did Rioli, Reiwoldt, Picket, Elliott, Thomas, Hoskin-Elliott, all far older more experienced players. Let's give the poor guy a break and make judgement down the track when we have a proper set of games to evaluate.
