Supercoach 2014

Cheers guys thanks for the help. Is it just me or is the page a little harder to use this year, the mobile app is certainly painful to use!

Finished with 2343, not too bad although it could have been better if my bench decisions were on the money. Hopefully I'm not too far off the lead, I have a feeling the winner will be around 2600.

2352 with Ellis to come. Thomas and McDonald have hurt my score.

Oooops I made a mistake. I was adding Sandilands score to my total as he was an emergency with Derickx on field as a loop hole. This year they must add the emergency scores progressively through the round. Last year they were just added at the end.
Disappointing but I ended up with 2291

Finished with 2271 - ranked 6130

I was ranked 50th overall after round 1 last year. My big mistake was that I traded out Dangerfield and LeCras who scored poorly and got injured in the 1st game. Both came back from injury earlier than expected and dominated for the rest of the season. My rankings slipped thereafter but still finished in the top 5000.

Will closely monitor next weeks action to determine likely balance trades.

Bullus scored very well this round - well done.

Bloody Rockliff copped a week, grrrrrrrrrrr

I still think you have to hold, luckily enough the rookies seem to be doing well so it shouldn't be catastrophic. In saying that, losing a premo so early is frustrating in the extreme.

Will hold onto him for sure

I took SC gold for the trial period. It's nice but I don't think it gives you access to the live scores during a match.
One thing I did notice is the stats on trades. People are actually doing trades on Monday LOL !

You need to go the Herald Sun Footy Live page.

Can access all the live stats, commentary and SC scores.

If I can't watch a game on tv, I usually have the AFL app activated with radio of the game (SEN) plus the HUN app with the live SC scores.

The missus loves it....not.

I use a free app called Footy Star 2014, updates both SC and DT scores at the end of each quarter. The HUN threatened to sue the owners of the app last year so now while games are live the scores come up under FS (fantasy score) and the appear in the SC column once the game is finished often with a 1-2 point difference i suspect to well and truely cover themselves.

yep thats the one I use. the FS scores are live and are pretty accurate for the SC scores.

only trade i may consider is walker to swallow which will give me some extra cash before prices change

I'm not sold on Swallow as a big SC scorer. I think we gave him way too much room than he is used to which gave him a heap of scoring shots (think he kicked 1.3 from memory).

Will be interesting to see how he goes this week as Crowley will tag the Little Master.

Trying not to trade this week, but it's hard not to tinker with the team! Score of 2160 not exactly a great start to the season. Like many others, backline a big let down. Might just wait and see how the scores go this week before getting trigger happy on those that under performed in round 1
