I believe you can make unlimited trades throughout round 1.

You can't trade players in or out who have already played though as they are locked out.

At this stage I have McIntosh, Sandilands, Hickey and a rookie.

This way I am covered by injuries.

Not sure about McIntosh though - might go Longer instead.

Risky setup that one, high reward in other areas of the ground. I had Grundy and Sandilands for weeks but after seeing Grundy against us i ditched him. Currie and Derickx warming the pine

Went Sandilands and Lobbe. Currie burnt me last year and no signs of that changing. Still unsure on my other two.

Really went the dual option this year with 4 back/mids and 6 foward/mids in my starting 22.

We will see about that as there is some method to the madness so to speak.

Yep. I decided to query them about it. Their reply:

Hi,

Thank you for your email.

You can make unlimited trades throughout round 1. You’ll be able to trade players from teams that haven’t played yet as the ones that have will become locked and won’t be able to be traded.

This is by far the hardest year to pick rookies, spending way too much time on SC lately. Bloody split round rubbish is making it so much tougher!

I put Pendlebury in their at the last minute.

So with Pendles, Sandi and Beams I got 390 SC points with 3 players - not too shabby.

Langdon one of Collingwood's best.

I didn't have him but I might trade him in after round 2.
