The definition is the problem. "Elite" is defined as top 10% in your position.
Reckon their raw stats are more useful than the ratings, which I don't look at. They provide a view, but not necessarily the definitive view.
I was watching the Grand Final again last night and realised that Dustin Martin and me have something very much in common!
We both think Razor Ray is a total flog.
This realisation came about after Razor penalised Dusty when he was spun half a turn and gave the handball off, when others like Ablett and Dangerfluff can get spun 2 full turns without penalty. Dustin gave him a fearful spray which if my lip reading is any good, included the word "flog"!
Before i went to bed, i stared in the mirror with a big smile and said "Yes, i'm a little bit like Dustin Martin"!
I slept well.

I was listening to some of the radio commentary of the Grand Final and Tim Lane jokingly said something like - the one error Dustin made was he didn't realise it was Razor Ray heading his way!

Not sure where "Richmond was subjected to abuse from its own fans" came from. Yeah, media and public sentiment was with St.Kilda due to their eternal ineptitude, but I don't recall Richmond supporters siding with the Saints. We didn't care too much as Cox wasn't much chop.
What I do remember was St.Kilda later going on a witch hunt after the Cox case was settled, investigating the residential bona fides of all Richmond players. There was some suggestion that they had claims to Jimmy Jess as he was residentially bound to them, which fizzled out. Then after the return game at Moorabbin, they somehow had Jess charged on video evidence for striking one of their players, Peter Brown, even though video wasn't allowable as evidence at the tribunal at that stage.
PS I thought Fox was picked up on his cellphone speaking to a professional hitman? Not sure how he made that one go away.
I'm not. I still give bikies a bad face if they brush past my car on the road with those loud bikes.

Eg, you can watch a decade of exciting last minute goals to snatch games...where we are featured 7 times....1 win...6 hapless losses (the opening one is of course against us)
Or you can watch a decade of great marks. In a whole decade they can only find 3 tiger marks? Only 3? I can think of several they missed. Yet they show a non mark by Jamie Elliot and every single mark Nic Nat ever took (a couple of good ones and few meh ones).
Or the fallout between blues and SOS where it’s the relationship with Liddle that is highlighted, complete with a picture of Ellis and Liddle embracing after the 17 gf. Of course the ineptitude of SOS wasn’t a factor (to be fair there is an article on the booze brothers Silvagni boys - presumably drowning their sorrows for having to play for Carlton)
Or the video with the inexplicable tag line “Why did the Tigers leave WA gun on draft shelf?” when the video is really only a brief run down on the lads we picked. Ridiculous.
