Steve Hocking

They've achieved that stat. By crippling RFC and by default Dusty, we're seeing more Dusty Moments across the AFL. But they are 2021 Dusty Moments, not 2017,2018,2019 & 2020 Dusty Moments.
The thing that really sh***s me is that Hocking was straight out lying when he said this.
Absolutelythe last thing he wanted was a Dusty moment, but like politicians, a blatant lie usually goes unnoticed until such time as it is no longer relevant. I hate liers so much.
Wish they would *smile* off from this planet.

Hocking couldn’t lie straight in bed, same goes with his mate Gill.

Its basically Netball. Fancy seeing that play in the grand final by 2 teams. Horrendous

I think this clip from last nights match really captures the state of the game right now.
So the game is free flowing and hasn't been better?

AFLX bruise free circle work game of netball is what I see.

And the AFL wanted to "peg us back a bit" for playing a fast hard contested exciting brand of football

and are happy to allow teams like geelong ruin our game?

called it a few years ago when the pies adopted this tactic against us.

where are the state of the game discussions now? coz this is what's driving people away from the game.

imagine if you took a foreign visitor sports fan to their first game, and had talked up the greatest game on earth,

and had to explain that?

'yeah, well, you should have seen it last year, want a $12 beer? I've got some tequila hand sanitiser we can squirt in as a depth charge, to help with the tedium'

Dimma has stated a few times how he hates uncontested footy

he and the club need to become more vocal. like how salty scott whinged and whinged

some momentum needs to be created to eradicate this from our game

getting rid of the anti-richmond stand rule for starters

I think this clip from last nights match really captures the state of the game right now.

I particularly liked it when the commentator said that Geelong were streaming through the middle of the ground and the player with the ball then kicked it backwards.

What a boring brand of football.

Yeah, that should bring the crowds back, what a joke.

Basketball by foot, not football at all.

Remember when Adelaide tried this tactic a couple times during the 3rd quarter in the 2017 Grand Final and ended up in a world of pain?

That was football!

The possession game is boring as bat caca.

Precisely. It lead to the sealer (effectively) when George snapped his goal after the handball from Dusty

If AFL had any real interest they would send a survey out to members via the clubs and ask what the only people who really matter (the fans) think of the state of the game. Relying on sychapants of the media to make these comments is the height of nepotism. Without the fans there is no national game..

Salty Scott - "Do we really want the game to look like this?"

his jab at us after the 2017 GF.

Dimma and Benny should return serve with interest.
