A bit of dyslexia on my part there. I read 23 as 32 by the time he plays a game for GeelongAlready at his third club at the age of 22. Some sort of record?
He will be 23 (at least) by the time he plays a game for Geelong.
Maybe they thought he was 32, and not some young whipper snapper.A bit of dyslexia on my part there. I read 23 as 32 by the time he plays a game for Geelong

Showed more than DalhauseLikes it easy and is a down hill skier. A perfect fit at the cats.
I always thought it was a mistake to get rid of him, but we couldn't envision losing Buts and Higgins.Great to Stengle resurrecting his career, just a shame he did it down the category.
Too slow for our system.I always thought it was a mistake to get rid of him, but we couldn't envision losing Buts and Higgins.
Don't think he'd be still playing if he stayed at the Tigers. He was a lost cause and it's taken him 4 years and 3 clubs to realise what's required at AFL level. Has always been a talent but I remember all the talk was about whether we should keep Bolton or Stengle. I think we made the right choice.I always thought it was a mistake to get rid of him, but we couldn't envision losing Buts and Higgins.
Have a look a Bulter and Higgins now.I always thought it was a mistake to get rid of him, but we couldn't envision losing Buts and Higgins.
Stengle played a game or 2 for us in 2017 when we played 3 or 4 small fwds and have won 3 flags. He was behind those 3 and then we drafted Higgins. I can't believe Adelaide offered him a contract. Dusty and Lynch contracts squeeze every other player. it sounds like things are going well for stengle, Eddie Betts down there and grigg. Good luck to him. We had chances to win the game but couldn't take them.I always thought it was a mistake to get rid of him, but we couldn't envision losing Buts and Higgins.
