St Kilda's Dave McNamara kicked 13 against the Tigers in round 18 1922

Note also Ted Whitten is sometimes incorrectly credited with kicking 13 points as well.

I remember in 2003 when the Cubs should've made the world series, but one of their fans tried to catch the ball but instead knocked it out of a cubs fielder's mitt which would've been a crucial 'out', instead they conceeded 7 or 8 more runs in that inning and lost the match. It was a late night talk-show host's dream come true.
