No JB, hope I haven't been misleading with my question. Perhaps I should have asked which graduate from the 2005 Q-School to be more specific.

From the JB Holmes bio on PGA tour.

Rookie on the PGA TOUR after finishing as medalist at the 2005 Qualifying Tournament. Made it through all three stages in his first trip to Q-School and finished at 24-under 408 to defeat Alex Cejka by three strokes. Turned professional in summer of 2005 after a very successful college career.

Caused excitement when he won at only his fourth tournament. Currently sits second on the driving distance stats for the tour.

PGA Tour.com does not have a Q (indicating he is a 2005 graduate) next to his name in the money leaders stats.

Q

Agree JB Holmes is the leading money winner from Q School, I was just pointing out that PGA Tour.com doesn't list him with the Q to indicate that he was from the Q School.

All yours Bill - and apologies for any confusion ! :)

Thanks 44, its entirely appropriate that the cohort of PRE know more about the PGA than the official website.

Gillespie topped the batting and bowling averages for the recent Bangladesh Series. Who was the last Australian player to achieve this feat for Australia?

Correct averaged 57 with the bat and something ridiculous with the ball. Yours Skyb

great...

Ok, discounting Fremantle, Port Adelaide and University, which AFL team has the best winning record (percentage wise) against which other AFL team?

when u say 'percentage wise' do u mean such and such a team has won 79% of their games against so and so, or do u mean total points for versus total points against over the past 100 years or so?

sorry, i meant the 79% wins in matches played, i shouldve made it clearer...but you are correct, carlton have a 78.89% win record over the saints. The next closest is west coast over brissie (78.33%). North has an 80% win record over Port (!)... I hadnt found the history section on the afl website before, but its really interesting...

but anyways, its over to you, ralphie.

wow, i pulled that one out of my hairy bott!

next question:

name the australian cricketer who was the fastest to 100 first class wickets.

So it was Charlie Turner, in fact he and Grimmet both achieved it in 17 tests with Turner having the better average.
