Sports Quiz

With the passing of big KP it takes my mind to World Series Cricket. Who topped the batting averages in the World Series Super Tests?

You will recall that some of the Windies players played for the World XI as well. For the purposes of this question lets use the combined average for those players.

I think Viv topped 100 in games for WI but was in the low forties in his games for the world XI which dropped his combined average below one or two other players.

There are some healthy stats man

Did it really take you 2 months, or are you really bored today?? :hihi

TC vaults past me.

The first game, a 2-2 draw, was played not long after the show jumping and dressage had been staged and the pitch looked like the Western Front; the football suffered accordingly. So when a replay became necessary the FA took it to Old Trafford. Allan Clarke and Mick Jones combined for a classic goal to give Leeds the lead, only for Peter Osgood to equalise in the second half. In extra time future Bees manager David Webb ::) headed home from a corner to give Chelsea the Cup.

The Guardian states that no horses appeared at Wembley until Tony Adams played for Arsenal in the 1987 Littlewoods Cup final, although I thought horses and donkeys were different species.......

Your go Terry Cooper!
