should we go for Fev

If we were a top 6 side then I'd consider it, but given he probably has 2 years max left I can't see what he would add, especially with Riewoldt and Vickery coming on in leaps and bounds.

Not as stupid a question as most on this thread are expressing.
We have had possitive recent experience with wayward stars being thrown a life line.
I for 1 would say to such a player

" Here is the 42nd spot on our list and your on minimum wage.
This is your 1 page contract document and here is your 300 page book of clauses.
Read the clauses carefully then sign"

However the hole he would want to fill at Richmond is full, with several in the que if Jack were to go down.
So for that reason alone ,I would say no.

Fev should go up to GWS. Plenty of pokies out there, and the club could get sponsorship by the anti-'licence to punt' campaign.

Rfc will stay the course which doesn't involve fev but a top 6 club would be foolish not to look at him...Stewie dew was the difference for the hawks in 08 and fev could be the difference in 2012. It's great that Carlton can't take him though due to their own pi$$ poor management of him over his years down there.

Personally I don't think the experiences have been that positive. Cousins spent alot of time injured, but his background as a football player in terms of committment and preparation was second to none. Fev is the absolute opposite and would add no value whatsoever.

He's not a good fit for us but Melb, GWS, Suns, Sydney, Bullies....Carlton even!

2 weeks ago on One week at a Time Dimma said "Not at our Club ".

It won't happen and it shouldn't happen .

Thats not 100% correct. "Probaably not at our club" is what he said. Door not slammed shut for him yet. Not very far open either.

Didn't Wallis say something the same when asked if we would be taking Cus?
