Just like to test the waters on this , should the Tige's go after Fev ?
He would be another option up forward and he would cost next to nothing, but does the negatives out way the positives? ::)

Short Answer: No
Long Answer: Absoeffinlutely No

Negatives outweigh the positives? Can anyone find a positive? Richmond has Riewoldt, Vickery and Griffiths, all key forwards under the age of 23 with years ahead of them. Fev is 30, comes with a lot of baggage and his best years behind him, plus a public profile that no club really wants. Not wanted and more importantly, not needed.

To balance the thread out ill say YES!

Seriously though No way. We already have 2 gun forwards.

Fev won't get picked up anywhere in the AFL again.

That's what I think as well. However if I was the saints I would give him a crack they have nothing to lose.

With roughy and buddy gone mist likely for 2012...hawks would have to look at him, he's almost a necessity for them now.

You maybe right. The personal baggage is overstated, clubs aren't convents. The footy issue of an old-style forward who needs the 50 to himself and plays from the goalquare is the bigger issue. Most clubs are into 6 forwards, sharing the load and everyone chasing and tackling which ain't Fev. But yeah the Hawks might be flat out of alternatives football wise.

I think most clubs will be looking, not at his undoubted playing ability. But at the long term disruptive influence around the clubs he has been involved with.

That is what will be the deciding factor on a club taking a chance with him.

Buddy isn't gone.

Yep but it didn't look great last night, happy it's only bruising but hawks should still look at fev if he's cheap...rookie him. Franklin will be a bit under done at the start of 2012....
