Ben Cousins has been charged with failing to stop, dangerous driving and refusing a breath test after a car chase.

Doesn't seem to matter how much care, support n training he gets, seems he just can't avoid messing in his pants. Not sure he's ever gunna get himself fully sorted out.

and all photos that i have seen of the incident, they have him in his RICHMOND JUMPER as the photo.

Apparently the "car chase" was similar to O.J. Simpson's famous car chase.

Fair enough. That's his most recent footballing photo.

The top 3 news sources on google right now have him in his West Coast jumper, as does The Age, so it's a mix.

Media beat-up as usual. Unless Cuz still has a paparazzi fly stuck on his head, I wonder how much the cops actually get paid for leaking out these stories.

I saw a picture on Twitter of him with one of his West Coast team mates, wearing the West Coast jumper. Everyone knows he played for both clubs. It's just very sad, because Benny had so much potential to achieve great things both on and off the field, and it looks like that potential will never be recognised because of his addiction.

At 40km/h? I suppose the cops believe that too.
T Bone some poor bastard who's also going about forty or fifty kliks across the intersection n you'll make a pretty decent mess, never mind whatever pedestrian or cyclist might happen to get in the way.
If Benny was driving weird or running reds then the Plod was more than entitled to bail him up, refusing the mandatory booze n drug tests afterwards puts him in the guilty category so whatever he cops is self inflicted as far as I'm concerned.

Decent mess? Hitting someone or a vehicle travelling at 40km/h barely causes a scratch from what I've experienced. No reports of smash or hitting a person obviously looks like Cuz controlled himself quite well driving at that speed if he had to run red lights in an emergency. Wouldn't you be speeding over 100km/h if you were under the influence of drugs? For sure the cops had the right to arrest him, but geez lets keep bagging this bloke who seems to have committed more evil than the Bali 9 or that K Hunt.

Serious?
Even if Cuz is allegedly doing 40km through red lights..what about those coming through the green ones!
You'd don't get arrested for nothing. Refusing a breath test allegedly speaks volumes.

Whatever.

By the way just for curiosities sake. If it was such an urgent dire emergency, why would you not take the breatho, add an explanation of the emergency and plead with the Plod for assistance to resolve the emergency instead of refusing n getting carted to the station? Surely that would have delayed him n made it impossible for him to rescue the emergency.

Depends in what you were on.

And an accident at 40km/h can kill, quite easily
