I had a scan through the juniors to watch thread but couldn't see much on Ruckman. Whilst I have heard this draft is light on for Ruckman I'd like to see us pick up one or two in the draft and rookie. Daniel Currie is a clear choice as a state leaguer but I wanted to know more about the green 18 year olds.

I have looked in a few places and like the sound of Darcy Fort. 203cm 84kg 19 years old, works very hard and does one percenters. He would be a project player and needs time but I think if we get Currie or a retread we should be right to wait.

Alternatively does anyone know what next years crop is like?

I believe they're very tall.

Thanks TBH. I was actually thinking of including something saying that maybe we should target 195-198 athletes who can jump seeing as the new ruck rules do away with slow 108kg monsters who want to wrestle

Khan Haretuku looked a likely type in the VFL, @ 23 years of age he might just be ready AFL.
I wouldn't be surprised if we have a look at him, reckon he will get taken by someone this year.

Despite being nearly 200cm dont think he played ruck though. KPF I beleive.

I do like the Americans danog. I saw wood and ceglar have been delisted. Any interest as insurance?

I don't see any harm in listing one of the Yanks as our other International Rookie. At the very least it would help boost the confidence of some of our lesser oil painting types at the bars and clubs by giving them a 2nd angle when attempting to pick up the ladies. :hihi

I haven't seen a great deal of him but I thought Ceglar looked ok the couple of times I saw him.

Is Ceglar any better than Gus, if not pass. As for "Planka" Wood, I would'nt event want him at the Burgers.
He makes Gus look like a champeen

And the pies gave up pick 14 for him. :cutelaugh :cutelaugh :cutelaugh

Well with the rookie list going from 6-4 we should take advantage of the international rookies being off that list. This will help development and will also help us fill up a VFL team next year.

Which one of the above tested well for running and standing leaps at the draft camp?

What about this Hannath bloke from SA is he any good is he worth a look or will he get snapped up by the locals.

Will we re rookie Rangamania.

I don't know much about Hannath but if we don't land Grundy then I'd be all for grabbing the best state league ruckman.

In some other news, Collingwood may rookie Stephenson which says a lot for Cameron Wood's ability.

Does anyone know if Callum Sinlcair is a likely draftee this year?
