Rowell

Won't be surprised if he is stifled and leaves to come home after 5 years in that shithole.

The Pies tried to get pick 1 last year and Gold Coast asked for Treloar or DeGoey straight up.

They knew what they were getting. Suns are on the right path, not that far away from being really competitive.

Didnt the Skunks put Trelol up and the Suns said no thanks, then Trelol found out he had been on the table.

I know he's only played 2 games, but to be honest I probably would have put De Goey up. I reckon he's over rated, fat and will end up similar to a Jake Stronger, everyone expects them to take that next step but never do.

Rowell was outstanding last night, stood up in tackles, made the right decisions, can kick (I described him last night to someone as Clayton Oliver who can kick). He looks an outstanding talent.

His game also should be graded against who he was facing, one of the best midfields in the comp, not some crap midfield like some near the bottom but one of the best all round midfields in the game at the moment.

Having watched both those games today he should be glad he didn't end up at Carlton. Regardless of them nearly getting over the line, I'm making the Treloar call..... Gold Coast have a better list!
I Don’t think the blues are too far from getting up the ladder.
They need to be tighter in the first quarter

Rowell May end up being the pick of the last 10 no. 1s.

2010: D Swallow
2011: J Patton
2012: T Boyd
2013: L Whitfield
2014: P McCartin
2015: J Weitering
2016: A McGrath
2017: C Rayner
2018: S Walsh
Wouldn’t be hard Tim. That’s a very underwhelming list. Whitfield and Walsh clearly the best but I’d be staggered if Rowell isn’t clearly ahead of those two in a few years.

Yeah, underwhelming was my exact thought when I put the list together.

Yeah interesting not as great as you would tthink all the number 1 picks.

I have an official man crush on Rowell. Not only the way he played the other night. But he was on 360 last night and the way he presents is unbelievable for an 18yo. I am going to pay closer attention to GC now because of him

I reckon Rowell will give Gold Coast 7-8 years of service before heading south. That is unless they are competing for flags by that time (which is plausible if they keep that list together)

Geelong are already trying to get him.
Bucket head Selwood is sending him messages congratulating him..
Its one game let's see how he goes when clubs try to stop him.
Saying that, we will have a shitt load of cap space at the end of next year.
