Round 9 Other Games

Eddie or whoever is host normally introduce Billy Brownless when he does the points bet commercial, Billy always says thanks Ed.
Well Billy just did it without an introduction from Gawee, funny that.

Thought Freo were a lost cause but after tonight Dees join their club.

They're making Poort look unbeatable. You have to feel for the poor Dees supporters.

They can't even get away to the snowfields this year.

The sad part was Port wasn't flash either.
They gave Melbourne a shitload of opportunities but It's only Melbourne.
That Dixon is over hyped too the max.
Port have a side that will get destroyed in finals.
Byrne Jones Dud.
Mayes. Danny Meyers brother
Powell Power, Mitch Robinson part2
Amon and Clurey will disappear in finals, quicker then David Copperfield.
Port is this years Brisbane..6-0 6-0

There's only 3 clubs that can and will win this years flag.
Us WC, i would say Collingwood but they beat themselves and maybe Geelong.
*Brisbane are just a cocky, full of smart ass's. The captain is a massive *smile*.
*Port not convinced they have the team to even make a GF.
*Essendon, more chance Werribee winning it (just a stupid club, could've had 2 first rounders for a bloke that won't play for them again and they could've banked another first rounder for a bloke that said this early in the week "playing on different surfaces might've contributed to my injury. Fantansia.
What an absolute flog.
The grounds in Queensland are beautiful.
Stkilda no chance.

Takes a good grab - that last screamer was Royce Hart like. Kicks well too. Could be a star.
Hope our Lynch was watching, coming in from the side like Royce is worth trying unless the umps miss all the blocking.

I watched a fair bit of the first quarter and all of the second. Very hard to tell if Port were any good, their opposition weren't there.

Melbourne were absolutely putrid. No connection, turnovers galore, they are truly terrible. Adelaide would look forward to playing them.

Watching a neutral game is also an interesting one for the umpiring. The holding the ball decisions are just a farce. I saw a couple of instances where a player would be trying to gather the ball, get held, manage to somehow still take at least partial possession and then get pinged for holding the ball. Prior opportunity? They didn't have the ball when they were tackled - it's called holding the man.

saw about 1 minute of that game, i think the score was 65 - 11, and 'the new Dusty' tripped on his boot laces

No Bennell, no Dees:D

He is finished too.
He was a quick and smooth mover when he was up at GC,
The first time i saw him play for Melbourne was last week.
He wasn't quick and he defiantly wasn't smooth.
Delist quality

Paul Roos pulled off an almighty heist. Implemented a new culture, blah blah blah....

AFL should be asking for the %4m back

It’s now season no. 7 since Roos started the 12th Melbourne rebuild. 7 seasons and still nothing to show for it.

Just read Garry Lyons comments on Melbourne:

”Melbourne was pathetic. I wish I could do something about it but I can’t. I’m sitting here three states away”.

You bloody soft *smile*. So when Melbourne are *smile* when they play in Melbourne and you don’t do anything about it what’s your excuse then?

I got a good chuckle out of Lyon saying "I wish I could do something about it but I can’t. I’m sitting here three states away".
So what is he saying, if he was at the ground, he would go down and sort things out at half time. :rotfl1
