Round 7 other games.

Oh god, just realised what games in Perth mean.....................................................................................not bloody Basil AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Yep. Basil, Jab Watson, BT, Bwuce, De Gooey, Danger, Chamberlain already imposing himself on the match.....

Midsomer murders looking a whole lot better !

Classic case of commentators not understanding the rules and perpetuating ignorance with the deliberate out of bounds.

Every pre-season the umpires show examples and explain that trying to kick the ball into space and failing is automatically deliberate.

Unless you have a teammate in the area that you are realistically giving the ball to then it is clear cut and skill errors are not accepted as an excuse.
It's not "deliberate" anymore, it's "insufficient intent". Do you think the Collingwood players intent was to keep it in play or out of bounds?

Pies beating Geelong in contested possession quite comfortably and killing them for speed. This makes me unhappy.

Collingwood have taken the bulldog mantle from 2016.
Throw the ball when ever you want. Trelor is getting away with blue murder again.

Want Geelong to win.
We know they’ll drop their bundle season end anyway.

Trelor is getting away with blue murder again.
He loves diving forward really low to the ground whilst throwing both hands and the ball forward in one motion, with one arm ever so slightly cocked so the umpire thinks it’s a super quick handball when it’s much closer to a throw.

Exactly, but it is clearly explained in preseason that your intent is measure in the result of your actions.

So if you put the ball out of bounds, the only acceptable excuse is you were making an attempt to get it to a team mate in the area.

If you are just trying to take ground then by the ball going out of bounds you have automatically displayed insufficient intent by not making sure it didn't go out.

It couldn't be more clear on the preseason umpire address.
Ha, this I did not know, and explains many decisions that I thought were ridiculous. I’m surprised people probably being paid six figure sums to commentate wouldn’t have known. I have been schooled on this now.

Only seen 2 flops from Geelong so far, Selwood did one as did Danger.

Btw, Jack Steven will go down as the worst trade since Chris Yarran.

This 2020 version is just *smile*.
Unfortunately to combat our onslaught teams have just gone completely in the other direction.

Ablett will get suspended for a rance just then
