Round 6: the herniated disc games.

Would be nice to see Sydney lose by over a hundred, should keep our loss on Monday out of the papers a bit.

Even with a bunch of players out, it’ll take a bit of getting over not one, but two absolute beltings of mammoth proportions for Sydney. They’ve gotta be asking are we really all that good now.

2 points in the second half by the Swans.

Let’s hope that everyone pumps up the Cats and they get ahead of themselves.

Handbaggers now have the second best percentage in the league. Amazing what a cushy draw can do. Well done SHocking.

Once it becomes a regular focus in the West Australian he's dead in the water.

Our WA members would be all over it, @Streak ?

It is a good question and I don’t have the answer. The Eagles have under performed, there is no doubt of that. Simpson seems to be Teflon.

Interestingly, The West ran a story yesterday along the lines of a change being needed at West Coast. But amazingly enough they didn’t look at a coaching change, they looked at off field leadership including Trevor Nesbit.

Geelong gained 19%
Sydney lost 28%
*If Geelong had beaten GC they would be top again.

But they made the GF last year and were absolutely belted. One of the few sides in recent years to actually beat the moggies down there.

So, I want to know, who is going to stop them from winning it again this year? GoDeez? Cartoon?

Not convinced they're not going to waltz in another flag. Must be a fountain of youth down in Geelong ... somewhere.
Dees will obliterate them. Soft run for the cats.

In R3 of 2021 I did a dirty thing. I will confess now on PRE to cleanse myself.

It was Phoney Season (who knew?). The reigning Preeeemier was months behind and the Swans were chock full of emerging talent ilek Warner, Gulden, McIrish, and had recently added the star Mills to the midfield. Their young group was flying.

So I smashed them at 15.5+ and over. I had them going for 20k to win by 10 goals. I10k at +39.5. Oh. I rarely bet on football. But when you're seeing he ball this big you take a swing. I went to the game with the family, sons, ex-wife, daughters in law. As Sydney smashed on goal after goal I was strangely calm. Each side hit the post, I dunno, eight time between them? Sydders piled on behinds and never nailed the ten goals. I had a great day on the punt, it's being Phoney Season I didn't rate the form.

Until now. Sydney of 2023 is no better than the side we met that day. Thin in the midfield and now with Franklin a liability hapless in attack.

They're no good. And were no good last year. Or not much good.

One more thing n Sydney, on football. Get yourself a legacy league. (I like categories.) Own a stock, know a stock. Mills has achilles tendonitis. Has had for years. He is a champion. When he can walk.

There are geniuses on PRE who can tell us how often he can, and how well over time.

14 touches last night.
