Round 5 V Williamstown

79-19, Aarts has 3.
He his not as quick as Butler or George, however I’d rather give him a crack and see how he goes, his just as tough as Castagna and has a better skill set.

I’ll go out on a limb and say Naish an RCD will be on the plane to Freo

And has a better football brain than Castagna, i reckon he deserves a game.

Given our recent injuries, I’d prefer our missing link was 195cm and 95kg. I’d love it to be C Moore.

Won't be Callum, went down with what appears to be a bad ankle. On crutches after game and punched the turf as soon as he did his injury.

FT: We led from siren-to-siren and broke a 112-year hoodoo.

Travelling home from Williamstown with the four points, how sweet

WILL 4.10 (34) def. by RICH 12.13 (85)

What 112 year hoodoo? Good to see we're still number 1 in the VFL.

Butler 3 goals.....betcha his back in.

Bad luck for Moore, hopefully it's not too serious.

I see that Naish got 20+ possessions, what position did he play please caesar?

Naish started wing in 1st quarter where he starred and had 12 possies, they sent him to half forward in final quarter. Was in my best.

Strangely overlooked on VFL website bests who voted this way:

1 Butler
2 Aarts
3 Towner
4 Soldo
5 RCD
6 Miller

Egg-Smith was very good IMO but didn't get a vote either.

Garth did his chances no harm but Astbury back next week

It was the best game I have seen Miller play

I wouldn't have RCD in my bests but did some nice things

Cheers caesar.

Good news re Miller, be good if he can go on with it.

I thought Smith was best followed by Naish, Garthwaite and Townsend

Smith was very good and has great run.

RCD did some very nice things - gets caught a bit but would not surprise if he is selected in AFL soon - I think he is one of those guys who will play better with better players around him.

Butler and Aarts kicked a few goals each. Butler was better in second half when he seemed to play further up ground.

C Moore & Chol both don't do enough

Miller and Garth covered each other, depending on match ups, at either FB or CHB.

Look,Miller still a long shot but showed some confidence and looked assured for the first time today, hopefully he grows from here.

Just on RCD, once again his handball to kick ratio was 2 to 1, (6 kicks 12 handballs), it replicated his stats from last week. Will be a much more damaging player if he can even up those numbers somewhat, 6 kicks a game is just too low.
