Round 3: The quinoa games.

I think I have to reassess my thoughts on Collingwood. They beat the cats who haven't beaten anybody. Beat port who have only won one game and lost to a team (crows) who we beat on their home deck by 5 goals. And pies beat a very undermanned Richmond by 14 pts.

I think dimma once said things are never as bad as they look and never as good as they look. If Pendlebury somehow manages to age eventually we will see how they go.

The Suns-Cats game might have been an error-riddled borefest but today's other two games were pretty entertaining. High quality game at the G, daresay a late September preview. Dees look the team to beat right now.

Not as high standard in the West but a great contest until injuries caught up with the Eagles, who showed a lot of heart. My boy Ginbey's a player, and easily the best game I've seen Petrevski-Seton play. Best I've seen Frederick too, he was electric, as was Switkowski, but he's been doing that for two years now.

They are going to fall. 1 goal final quarter with no ruck and moved slower. Watch them at the Gabba on Thursday to confirm this.

Oscar Allen is going ok, I wonder whether Zips knows that we picked Higgins and CCJ ahead of him in the 2017 draft.

Oscar Allen looking good for the Eagles Zips, has kicked 3 goals, did you know we picked Higgins and CCJ ahead of him in the 2017 draft:LOL: ;)

Seriously good team.

We'll see how they go over the full year, but in some ways Gawn being out for a few weeks might help Grundy get a free run at playing ruck with his new team mates. I reckon they are trying to time their run after last year's debacle.

Melbourne do look very good.

One noticeable thing with both Melbourne and Collingwood is the way they run past to receive, along with the support everywhere on the ground, and it is something I just don't get with Richmond at the moment, we just look very static.

Wow. How was that a free to Dangerfield??
I think I know the exact moment. I was thinking the same thing and sent a message to my cats supporting mate. Time correlates with the timezone difference.

That's what cripps gets paid.
Cerra gets in the backs, instead of holding the ball.
McCrae never gets pinged for throwing.
Collingwood players are allowed to decide when its time to release the ball.
But while the opposition only get .06 seconds to get rid of the ball.
Dangerfields goal came from the worse call for holding the ball I've seen. The GC just took the ball and he was moving therefore the *smile* paid against him because he tried to take on the tackler.

It's getting worse

The Dees weakness is the key forward post but they get away with it because they are so good through defense and the middle. Ben Brown and McDonald are very average. But they have a lot of very good role players and Fritsch is such a hard match up. Clear favourites for mine.

Grundy is a pretty handy replacement for Gawn although not at Gawn's level.
