I suppose it's a huge increase from 36 v 36 in a shortened game. But at least we had some bloody contested footy instead of just keepings off. AND it was a bloody closer game.
 
as much as I like Charlie Cameron,

he has to get 2 weeks for knocking Mayne out.

he simply belted him in the jaw.

What a beautiful morning.
Pies lose the unloseable again.
Brisbane believe they're a quality team.
And we are sitting back sitting comfortably in 2nd position.
 
Big Rumour Zac Bailey will be in next American pie movie.

The only kids Collingwood have is Moore because of a FF selection and Quaynoor.
Penderbury is a 2 qtr player now,
Sidebottom is finished.

Don’t get me started on Scumwood’s academy selections. It’s the biggest rort in the AFL.

A beautiful thing to see. Win lose or draw tomorrow, and I will still be happy seeing the Mudpies going down.

Must say though it was still a bit like keepings off with all the short kicks to a uncontested player. This is what I don't like about the statue new rule.

Dislike all those dinky little short kicks and that's my take on it, agree or disagree, my thoughts for the day.

Scumwood fans complaining coz they didn’t get their usual +10 free kick differential amount.

Funny seeing Daics with the hair of a middle aged man while his 2 sons grow a mullet. It's like deja vu in a way.

That's just poor coaching, or coaching for a low quality team. The best teams will exploit the new rule by taking the game on and moving the ball quickly forward by hand or foot. Those chipping the ball around lack either attacking players, speed or good ball users. They will get found out and left behind

Exactly. The most enthralling games I've ever watched were typically lower scoring than higher scoring.
