Round 22. Other games we just don’t care about.

Fantastic last quarter to watch, Eagles vs Freo.

When the pressure's on, not even Hocking can ruin a great spectacle.

Whoever the next Mundy is, I want him at Richmond - so good for so long.
Totally agree mate.
Mundy 353 games and counting. 36 years old and still playing some good footy. Bloodychampion of the game.
Good on Freo for the win, they showed some mettle.

Tim Kelly suffered what looked like a bad knee injury when a player fell hard against him.

More and more boundary umpires aren't calling balls that have gone OOB or (OOTOTF when a player has "marked" it) and it just cost the Eagles a goal.
Agree. And they all from under 10m away. 4 now and ball movement is so slow they are never behind play but they are blind.

You have a crazy hate for Melb and bag them on their form this year which actually makes you look a little silly Since about Round 9 they should have been flag favourites. They have the best ruck and the best backup ruck going around (Jackson a gun). They have one of the best key defenders in May. A great backup (I can't stanmd him but he can play) in Lever. In Petracca they have a dusty "light" substitute. But he's coming. In Oliver they have an absolute clearance and competitive beast. I didn't like this guy a few years ago because he got ahead of himself but he is now one of my fav non-tigers players. A relentless runner and competitor. Would love him at the tigers. Fritsch is very punchable but a point of difference in a forward line. They have speed in Langdon and Hunt (is he out) and some annoying small forwards in Spargo and Pickett. I like Rivers in the backline, he's an improver. Brown gives them a target. They've got the best balanced side in 2021 IMO. This rabblebourne rubbish doesn't apply this year. They are the best flag hope IMO.
I just notice how they get easy frees in most games they play and I haven't called them Rabblebourne for 12 months because they have improved, so I call them Miragebourne.

We all have our loves and hates.

Essendon think they are the real deal.
Only 14 days to go to watch them sook they want Rutten out
Essendon's improvement is built on youth. Stupid to think they aren't in a great position for the future. Between the rabblebourne calls and Essendon overrated PRE has become the home of the dunce If you think Essendon are no good and don't have a bright future (especially after nicking lots of tigers IP) you are a fool.

I like watching them play, their brand is good and they have some bright young talent.

What does miragebourne mean? They are an illusion, no substance? You obviously are a fan of egg on face.

West Coast thrown in the towel also, cant see them fight the fight needed to regain their spot in the 8.

They are in some trouble going forward the Eagles they don't really have much obvious quality coming through apart from 2 or 3 including Allen and Ryan.

Their arrogance doesn't match their position or output since 2018.

Will be nice to see them campaigners miss the 8 too.

The flag is an illusion as they haven't won since 1964. If they win it this season, then good on 'em. It's all for fun MD. Just enjoy it or ignore it.

The downward spiral of us and the Eagles since our match against each other will be one of the more bizarre occurrences I've seen.

Geecheat still look the best of an average bunch to me. Hopefully their insanely easy draw and the fact I think they may still struggle on the bigger grounds, works against them.

Don't forget the MRP free passes.

West Coast, like us, now have to deal with an ageing list. In 2022 Nicnat will turn 33, Josh Kennedy 34, Darling 30, Gaff 30, Cripps 30, Hurn 34, McGovern 30, Shepherd 32, Shuey 32 and Vardy 32,

New rule. Just no-one knows about it - one of the AFL secret ones, only they and umps have 'the knowledge'. There's 50cm allowance OVER the boundary. It's classified as 'near enough' nowadays ... you have to enhance scoring.
Cost us at least two goals in close games this year. The boundary umps are right there, notice.

Is there more going on behind the scenes at the club that is yet to emerge.

The playing group has played all of the season pretty much without that love, and fun and energy and abandon and embrace they made their own.
Yer, I've really started to wonder ... even if Caro is not entirely off mark re Dimma. If it's true about Caddy getting the chop about a week ago. I'm not sure he deserved summary dismissal, as a two-time flag player.
