Clench was probably trying to reverse out when he saw Toby coming. Mighta thought it was Toby Nank rather than Toby Greene.
I didn’t see the game, however just saw Greene T kicked 4 , when they talk about best player after Dusty ,I don’t think there’s any better then that bloke
Very dangerous spot to get with an elbow. Be pretty scary having breathing issues.
Reckon Greene should be in trouble, you can fend but how many fend by leading with the elbow? who knows which way it will go. Would obviously help us if he was suspended.

I guess Dangerfield knows how easy you can accidentally elbow someone in the head/throat area when going for the ball. if one was cruel they could even say it was a bit of karma.

Just saw the replay of Selwood. He has got to get at least a week for that. should get more for intent, but wont. agree. great player, but diving, ducking, sniping prick of a footballer.
Greene could go either way.
It can’t be careless. He had time. He made the decision to turn side on and bump a guy putting his head down over the ball. Selwood could have contested the ball or waited and tackled. Has to be intentional simply because he had alternatives and chose to bump. Very close to causing a bad injury to Taylor. If they are serious about protecting the head he must get a week.
Not disagreeing with you MD, but Christian has history with these sort of incidents.
