Clench was probably trying to reverse out when he saw Toby coming. Mighta thought it was Toby Nank rather than Toby Greene.Dangerfield actually slips in this one and contributes to the high contact.
Not great but maybe he knows he's headed elsewhere?Sheesb. I didn't mind the prospect of Narkle until tonight. Bruise free, lazy and poor skill based on tonight
Very dangerous spot to get with an elbow. Be pretty scary having breathing issues.i can understand that a whack to the throat isn't a comfortable thing ...
but geez DangerElbow is a drama queen .. he's as camera aware as his coach ...
I guess Dangerfield knows how easy you can accidentally elbow someone in the head/throat area when going for the ball. if one was cruel they could even say it was a bit of karma.Very dangerous spot to get with an elbow. Be pretty scary having breathing issues.
Reckon Greene should be in trouble, you can fend but how many fend by leading with the elbow? who knows which way it will go. Would obviously help us if he was suspended.
Great result, hopefully these injuries will see them limp into finals.

Hopefully Greene gets a week! but i recon he will get off.
glad the Giants beat the Cats. anytime the cats lose is a good time. doesnt really effect us. we win our next 7 we win the flag. we lose one our next 3 we dont make the finals.
Selwood’s should be intentional, high hit, low impact - 1 week.So the narrative on Toby is unanimous .....
'it was a football incident'
surprise, surprise.
i suppose some blokes find themselves in incidents more than others.
not much dialogue on Selwood lining up the most influential player on the ground and charging at his head with his hip either.
oh, thats right, he got up and kept playing. selwood missed him.
*smile* me.
Daisy Pearce's career could be short. Shes the only one who says what we see.
Selwood’s should be intentional, high hit, low impact - 1 week.
Lynch: silly boy keeps doing silly thingsLengthy match report in the HS focuses on Greene and the only time Selwood is mentioned is in the best players.
Couldn't care less except that Lynch was turned into the boogeyman last year for far less. It's sick.
Now apologise to bozoSelwood was trying to hurt Taylor bad, and didnt.
he was thinking 'if I knock this bloke out, Tom can get a kick and we could win'
there's almost nothing surer in this world.
Greene wasn't trying to hurt Dangerfield, and did.
One is nasty, one is clumsy, both high, both a week.
I don't reckon consistency would be that hard at the MRP,
especially if you had an impartial panel, rather than one bozo man.
It can't be anything else can it? Very clearly put Columbo.Selwood’s should be intentional, high hit, low impact - 1 week.
Just saw the replay of Selwood. He has got to get at least a week for that. should get more for intent, but wont. agree. great player, but diving, ducking, sniping prick of a footballer.the MRP will charge him that way,
and the media will say hes a brave combative hero,
and we don't want the game to be netball,
and he'll get off.
even though his intent, was to put Taylor in St.Vincents, so Tom could get a kick.
Selwood is a champion,
but he's one if the biggest *smile* ever to play.
To the public, it's intentional. It can't be anything else can it? Very clearly put Columbo.
It can’t be careless. He had time. He made the decision to turn side on and bump a guy putting his head down over the ball. Selwood could have contested the ball or waited and tackled. Has to be intentional simply because he had alternatives and chose to bump. Very close to causing a bad injury to Taylor. If they are serious about protecting the head he must get a week.To the public, it's intentional.
To Christian, it's careless and a fine.
Not disagreeing with you MD, but Christian has history with these sort of incidents. It can’t be careless. He had time.
