Round 21 (Moju debut round) Other Games if ya give a stuff.

Dogs simply can not win the flag with this backline.

Nobody knows the rules anymore.

Smith tackles Merret, who tries to kick it but misses his boot. Ump right there looking. its dropping the ball, or incorrect disposal.

Ump say 'play on HE TRIED'

and as if thats not bad enough. Fox roll a replay and BT goes,

'correct decision, he had no prior'

Merrett didnt have prior, its true, but that rule applies to HTB, not DTB.

*smile* me.

anyway, rule a line through dogs, irrespective of the outcome of this game.

Cats and Dees will fight out the flag,

and I think Dees will win

Have to disagree, dropping the ball has never been a rule, ever. Incorrect disposal, yes, but you have to have had prior opportunity to be pinged for not disposing properly.

Mind you, I just saw a couple of frees to Bont late in the last which I never see players from other teams get. Holding the Man, which they rarely pay, paid to Bont just after he gathered the ball and then dropped it in a tackle. Yes, the Essendon player likely should have let go of the tackle earlier, but this happens heaps of times every game and it isn't paid - all we ask for is some semblance of consistency, just a little, is that possible??

we've had this debate before, and I still disagree.

either way, the umpires agree with you sometimes and me sometimes,

with no discernible pattern.

our only real chance is nw we win both, and WC lose to Dees and Lions.

I think we're done.
There’s a big gap now with the top four and 5th and 6th are also safe.
I can see some games being manipulated in the next fortnight by match committees.
That Eagles v Lions game will be very interesting.

Yep...WCE got Freo as well next week so maybe a chance there too but unlikely. We all need to start doing the Stephen Bradbury dance for the next 2 weeks.

im sure Shocking will tuck us in.

It isn't in our hands anymore. We probably dropped to many games we should have won anyway. The Cats and Dogs both weren't switched on this weekend.
Everyone Tanking to keep us out :mhihi

We aint even in the 8 and we are in their heads.

Ok, now we need WC to lose a couple of games
Interesting game tomorrow night on many levels. Wet Coke lose and we have a chance along with Simmo getting closer to being sacked. Wet Coke win and Miragebourne keep collapsing possibly out of the top 4.

Never like seeing anyone get injured but as strange as it sounds, the Dogs losing Josh Bruce could be a blessing in disguise. ..... if there's one bloke in the competition who I reckon will crumble come finals pressure. ..... it's him!
Apart from that I wish him well in his recovery.

Many on here seem to be just assuming that, even if the cards did fall our way with other teams' results which are out of our control, that we will just cruise to win our final two games. Why? Because we beat bottom team, Norf (and struggled with a shocking 1st half again).

A depleted GWS showed much better form in beating a top team at their stronghold. Our nemesis, Toby Greene, will have to win his appeal after other MRP decisions this season, and they may get other strong players back too.

Then we face the improved Dorks in the last round, for Clarkson's end-of-a-glorious-era and Burgoyne's final games. Every chance they will get up for it.

I, for one, will not be pencilling these games in for wins for a team that was quite disgraceful in its losses to the Aints, Colonwood and GCS.

I switch on the game like for 30 seconds and I see Ben Brown 50 M gift goal.

Is there a bloke gifted more goals by the umps than this bloke.

Dixon and Cox definately up there as well but this guy has made a career out of it,.
