Round 20, Richmond VFL v Sandringham

We should bend over Brisbane.
'Give us your 1st pick for 3rd and 4th rounders otherwise we will bid on Ashcroft.
And you pay with everything you have.
Make a decision!!!"View attachment 23839
We should bid on every possible player and make their team pay as much as possible.

This isn't a country club gathering! Lets use our ladder position to our advantage amap.

Not at this stage if your talking AFL list.

Many are fans of him but II’d take Blight every day of the week and twice on Sundays before him.
Blight is a great intercept player but at AFL level i think he has to shed some Kg's.

That first quarter was one of the worst quarters of football I've seen from our VFL side in years. Just no energy, no will to defend, nothing. Pressure ? Next to zero. It was pathetic.

There's some worrying signs at this club right now.

FOS may well become a superstar, but all I've seen him do is trot around one paced where the ball is not - both today and in the U18 GF. Unless he is completely unfit he can't be in serious consideration for #1.
Unless he is stooging to try and go much later to his preferred club?

If his surname wasn't Rioli would he even have been drafted?
It's an indictment on the club if he was only drafted because of his name ... reminds of Roach's son, although he could play ... at a good VFL level.

Has to be the worst VFL player we currently have on our list. Instrumental in a number of goals for the opposition through lack of skill, football nous and fitness.

Agree. As set out earlier the effort against St Kilda was the most pathetic I have ever seen.
I get the injury problem but the lack of effort by players who still have plenty to play for, was woeful.

The mid field is just too slow, and the delivery forward, when it comes, is hurried and inaccurate.
And into this mess up we are playing Shai as a key position player forward, with no more support than Kosy with all of his limitations, can offer.

Shai imo, is clearly being set up to fail and the footy boss, coach and CEO, should all be ashamed of themselves.

Hard to remember worse conduct from our once proud club.

Really?Was playing well before injury.
At best, he's a slow burn. But I'm prepared to give him the time ... Stengle took years to make it too. But has multiple areas to improve in. Is no certainty to make it yet IMHO.
