who said Essendon would start losing cos rohan Connolly wrote his annual Essendon are different this time article? That was spot on! Set your watch by it. Is Stringer is looking stocky.
RoCo….. I do miss him. But every time he is given another opportunity he blows it. The Rage Against the Machine schtick he thinks makes him edgy lost its impact about 1999.

Fair call. But at least he’s true to his nature and isn’t politically scared. And forgetting about Roco for a minute, but RATM are a great band regardless.

Might be true. But you would hope at least one player would be tougher than his corpulent 50 year old coach.

And in common with footy an Achilles tendon injury has been career ending for RATM (I googled that. Didn’t hear it from RoCo.)

Exactly the 2 teams who clogged the 8 most season and now time to face reality and slide.

Agree. More truer than ever. Does he still do a podcast with Mark Fine whom I also miss.
Not sure. But both of them at least weren’t scared of the consequences of upsetting the Fat Controllers. (Although Finey could get a bit angry/silly at times and fly off the handle without much thought.)

I’d love to start up a truly independent media outlet that wasn’t beholden to the corporate and political powers. Easier said than done I guess but if money isn’t a motivator and you’re true to that, then it’s easier.

I reckon we want the doggies to win, and if we win tomorrow we go above Essendon and stay 2 pts behind the doggies. We just then need to match the doggies for wins in the games we don’t play them and we take care of them when we play them.

As we don’t play the bummers we rely on them losing more than us.

Means our destiny is in our hands.
Means we have to beat either Melbourne or port in port

Essendon have a dream draw. Definitely wanted the bombers to win tonight then we could afford to drop two (dees and port)

Bombers still have Sydney GWS and Pies. Lose those 3 and they won’t make it.
