Round 18 - Last Round for the losers

You would think that Footscray will win and make the finals.

But, if Melbourne remain in the 8 they will be just like Essendon last year: the team that comes 5th will be planning for their semi a week early because they know week 1 will take care of itself.

I would like to see Port beat Colliwobbles for 2 reasons: prefer to not travel and play Brissy in Queensland, and, I would love to see StKilda destroy Collingwood in an Elimination Final.

Papley kicks a sensational goal roving off the pack then misses from the top of the square with a dribble kick.

Why don’t footballers kick drop punts??

Open game.

The Papsta has kicked 1 goal, 1 certain goal and tried to do ‘Dunstalls’ pet hate and dribble it, missed it, another gettable miss and out on the full. Could have had 4 such a player he is.
Cats settled.

34 swans - 25 Cats. 1 Qrt.

9.5 first quarter. Gotta be the highest this year for a quarter

That free against Menegola for deliberate was ridiculous. Every bit as bad as the Cotch one last night.
Don't think there's a greyer rule in the AFL than that one & it's got some competition.

No feel for the game.
Really gets me worked up that rule.

Swans doing their best to let the Cats win. Kicking it straight to Geelong players in the Geelong forward line. Then Heywood walks into an open goal slower than me and gets tackled costing a certain goal.

I agree but going off what TBR has said all year, that fell into the guidelines set by the AFL to the umpires to be treated as deliberate. If thats what the umps have been told then I understand why they pay that, but why has that direction been given by the AFL to the umpires. Seems a ridiculous interpretation of why they want a deliberate OOB rule.
