So much for the theory that it is crowd influence that leads to these terrible decisions - no crowd, WCE gifted a goal from a too short kick. Not 5 minutes later a short kick in the WB forward line is deemed to be too short. Just gross inconsistency and incompetence, no other explanation is possible.
Must say I like the way Footscray go running into packs to get the ball. On the TV you see 2 or 3 WCE players around the ball but there's always a Footscray player running in to contest. They work very hard and that is why they are playing a lot better than WCE. They are working hard like we used to. Always an option when Footscray are under pressure, often a player in support laying a shepherd. Forwards leading. Geez Richmond, have a look at what we need to get back to.

Probably most blatant front on contact by Daniel to Gaff 20 m in front. Totally missed by every umpire on ground. Contact split Gaffs eyebrow open. But that spot the " retaloratory" push in the back.
