Round 15 - the emptying the dishwasher games.

Long time ago. Pathetic transmission at times as it just blanks out. Too many ads. Sometimes I flick between AM and FM stations on my 2001 walkman and as most have music or talkback, SEN still has ads running.
ADSEN1116.

I did a drive up to Deni a while back. Maybe 2 years ago. Had Mince Whateley’s morning show going and thought I’d time just how many/long they went with ads over an hour of his show.

Essentially, outside of the news breaks, he’d go for 7 or 8 minutes on his show then flip to ads that would run for between 5 to 6 minutes. That’s a bloody long time to be running ads ! There’d be like 9 to 11 of them in a row, each time.

A little bit under half of the show was consumed by ads. Might be different now, dunno. But back then it was bloody excessive.

Ahem....so they were whinging about the 'depleted defence' against us last week, and yet today.......yeah right.

I'll say it again, I just wish Castagna could play like Curnow does.

The Blues fans have been quite for the best part of 20 years:bananathey've found their voice this season.

Too many ads, that's one of the reasons I don't listen to SEN anymore.

Hasn't changed. One show last week, I think Twang Russell, did an ad break of about ~ 7 ads every 10 minutes with so many callers on hold (I think about the Gordon the Joey saga). I just switched off.

Not liking Freos game style. They beat the Lions and Melbourne by playing some daring footy.

Today they roll all their smalls back so when they don't take the mark inside their forward 50, Carlton can just run the ball out. They are getting smashed in the middle too.

I think they’ll need a home game to win a final.

It's not only the ads. Nearly every sentence is "brought to you" or "for" some company or entity

As we know Mince is an insomniac curer, Twang's show is OK but I like Sam Edmunds on Friday mornings as the better host.
Sam Edmund made a dunce of himself last week. Kept refusing to acknowledge that rule changes and umpiring were a factor in people’s decisions to not go to the football.

Todays HS survey of fans says it’s the number 1 reason.

Agree with that. Thought he was joking.
