North a full 2 years younger on average per player, 40 games per player, 16 players played less than 100 games. Can't expect too much at this stage.

North just keep kicking it to the Skunk backs; have very few elite kicks, Higgins, maybe MCDonald, couple others. Otherwise useflees F50 entries, Plus too many big, slow talls who can barely take a mark.
Get Zurhaar in the middle for any chance. Wasted forward.

Moore has killed them. Would love to get him out of Pieland.

Once they left Polec etc out Shaw flagged he's starting the rebuild. And that's the right thing to do.

A couple of issues with this though.

Doesn’t Polec have at least 2 years on 750kpa to go on his contract?

Also, the other Salty Scott and North parted ways because the club didn’t believe his synopsis that a rebuild was required? So now Shaw has to take on a rebuild anyway?

They’re in for a world of pain.

It's a shame right?

Never rated Polec before North but would be happy to take him if he wants to play for peanuts and a shot at a flag.

I was actually keen on Polec and was disappointed Brisbane picked him but now I am not sure. Something is not right and my guess is he is the sort of player with plenty of skills but lacks that extra consistent 5% that turns good players into better ones.

I was worried Short would turn out the same but Short has kept on improving and rounded out his game nicely.

Bris were pissed he left as he still had plenty of upside then but strangely Port and Norf have seen something else in his makeup and are happy if he goes.

Bit rough on the disposal efficiency given his disposal was flawless?

Lolnorf should recruit another bigfish, say adam saad, to tide them over till the rebuild
They don't need anymore big fish, they nailed it with their recruiting of Polec, Pittard and Hall, they're all running around playing in scratch matches :rotfl1

If I was a Kangas fan (Heaven forbid) I'd be furious with Polec and Pittard, in particular, not being selected.

These blokes are exactly the ones who should be playing. Both are on big money and have a responsibility to lead their club in a time of need.

Instead, they both have been given a get-out-of-jail-free card.

Shifting them on at the end of the year would frank a monumental failure on the club's behalf to get the most out of them.

Both can clearly play. They should be lined up and told in no uncertain terms that it's time to deliver.

Polec is an elite kick and Pittard is OK too. Watching North cough up the ball time-after-time forward of centre proves they need these blokes playing.

I look around the league and see guys like Crozier, Plowman, McKenzie, Lyons, Kent, McCarthy, Conca, etc, all busting a gut at their new clubs after being fringe players at their previous clubs.

If North can't get more out of Polec and Pittard, it either says something about the character of those two guys or an environment that for some reason can't get the best out of players.

Either way, I'd be playing both and putting it on them to justify their potential (and pay packets), no excuses.

Polec will end up the North version of Jordy McMahon. Squibby left foot hbf brought over on big money and after a season or 2 can’t get a senior game.

He's easily good enough to get a game. They're a couple of percent off pick #4 instead of pick #2 and determined not to make the same mistake as in 2018 when they went from pick #1 to pick #4 by winning the last game.

I don't believe it's ever a mistake to try and win every game you can.

If that truly is North's reason for not playing these two, then they'll be damned for years.

Culturally, winning beats laying down for draft picks every day of the week.

Just ask Melbourne.
