Much as I hate the Blues those umpiring decisions were correct IMO. Heck of a kick to finish it.

Geelong are interesting
Lost to West Coast, Collingwobbles, GWS,
either they just hit top gear or everything went right for them against Port.
Are you describing Geelong or Gryan Miers?did anyone notice Greg-Brian Myers complete bamboozlement when he had a shot on goal on the boundary,
and his kicking action, which I find abhorrent, meant he had to run into the fence and narrow the angle to take the shot?
he couldn't adapt and run straight, and he kicked it OOF about 10m from the mark.
He is THE most unpleasant footballer I can recall watching.
The horrible white boy dreads, the staging for free's and the inflexible absurd hook kick.
I find it astonishing that such a severely limited footballer got recruited.
there must be duel sided, tough, smooth footballers in his elite junior sides who want to
every time they see him play.
Chip off the old block in many ways apart from 'kinging' blokes from behind... always wondered what his old man said to him post last years prelim about taking a dive.did anyone notice Greg-Brian Myers complete bamboozlement when he had a shot on goal on the boundary,

We had our fair share of absolute filth playing in the Diamond Valley in the 80/90s.... On the podium, this *smile*
Was at this game......!
Taken from the 1990 Grand Final record regarding the David Miers incident.
"Greensborough’s David Miers was the only person amused at his 70 second fourth term spell in last Saturday’s Diamond Valley football league preliminary final when Heidelberg defeated Greensborough by 30 points and will now meet Bundoora for the league’s 64th premiership.
Miers showed his feelings by the size of his smile when field umpire Stephen Snelson told Miers that he had been reported after limping on to the field.
With his knee heavily bandaged, he limped and hopped back onto the ground and 70 seconds later was reported 3 times for striking Heidelberg's ruckman Ataata and forward D’Abaco.
Miers was unable to walk from the ground as his knee would not support the Greensborough player who had only qualified for the finals in the last 3 games of the year.
Miers was easily identified as he was sporting a Mohawk haircut for the occasion, he was injured in the second term and was heavily taped when he reappeared.
The Investigation committee, on evidence presented, found that the Greensborough FC bench had no case to answer, however it was recommended that David Miers’ permit to play be withdrawn.
The Greensborough FC (Seniors, reserves and under 19’s) was placed on a $1000 bond until the end of season 1991."
