Dogs look a class above and in speed, but two very dubious frees got them going. One ridiculous one paid to Hunter as a 50m penalty after Bruce made high contact to push off from Battle who scragged his arm/shoulder slightly in return. Shockingly soft and unjustified penalty goal.
Then Cody Weightman put on a big stage in marking contest for same. Match-turning.

The Aints may be pretty average this year but they're treated much like us by the dumps, as their Geesook match proved.

I don't think people truly comprehend having 5 top mids out can severely impact team dynamics.
Cotchin, Prestia, Edwards, Bolton and Lambert are huge outs.

Jimmy Bartel countered that Brisbane were missing Neale, Rayner, Lester and Gardiner.

Gees the Bont is such a classy player; a match-winner. What a pity he didn't get to play for the club he loved growing up.

Weightman is so cocky for a very young player. Might be one opposition fans will come to hate. Knows how to milk a free.

Had the tongue firmly planted in cheek when I suggested Viney n Jones as comparable outs Tooter.

Yep got straight up grinning bit of campaigner about him looks like he'd fit right in at Brisbane or the Kochies
 
Good to see everyones forgotten about the bashing we gave the Dogs a few weeks ago on their flat track.
