Round 1 Finals - the PRE hangdog games.

Melbourne own them, they're allergic to the G and they won't get the umpiring they got in their grand final last night. Melbourne will flog them.
Spot on. Melbourne will knock them into tomorrow.
Just a damn shame we couldn’t get the job done last night.

Richmond picking Jake Batchelor over Luke Parker while watching them in the same team still irks me.

We need to find a Luke Parker in the draft.
Hard to imagine isn't it. Must have been queuing for some hot chips as Parker was carving it up.

Let me tell you now we would give Melb a run for their money. Without Prestia, it would be harder, but I wouldn't count us out
They can't score their forward line is average. Our run can trouble anyone. We are No 1 scoring team and No 1 ball movement team. We play the G as good as anyone and with the tiger army that would inspire them. I am spewing even more now knowing had lynch kicked that goal we would be playing the dees.

So the ducks are almost a lock for a place in the grannie - the soft part of the draw opens up for them and a home prelim.

Paddlepops no chance against the dees - their defence will get smashed and their soft forwards won’t get a kick.

I was hoping neither the chattery, the dees or the lions make it to the grannie - ahh add the cold pies to that list.

Based on tonight Melbourne aren't the benchmark.

We had the chance to be in the soft part of the finals and ducked it up royally. But somehow another team is so soft?
