That’s pretty my team as well. Only Miller plays. We won’t play just the one ruck. And Graham misses out for either Ross or Sonsie.

Graham missed far too much preseason to get a call up.

Miller plays as the sub and can get subbed in so same same

That's who I'd be going with to kick off the season
 
It's a tough ask. Middle batting deep. I want to see Sonsie in but with Cotch, Midget, Hopper, Taranto, Martin, Bolton, Graham, Short as contenders there, even Baker, I'm struggling.

We even had Moju starting in the centre a few times last year

Correct.
5 man bench with one player classified as the sub who doesn’t wear a vest and can be rotated on and off the ground at any time.
Makes perfect sense :rolleyes:

Maye replace Jack G with The Sonz, as Jack may not be ready and Sonz was good value at the end of last year!

That’s very unclear, hence my confusion.
Can utilise substitute player at any time however it doesn’t touch upon whether players are subbed out or can come back on?
Guessing I’m wrong and the player subbed in replaces a player that is subbed out.

That’s my interpretation as well. Once subbed out you are done for the game.

Of course it’s unclear. It’s more policy on the run as practised by the AFL.

If Tarrant is at full back and he is too slow to play further out, there is no way he gets big Mackay. Carlton will put Curnow on him and clear out their forward 50.

Curnow would not play FF , If he did thats a win for Richmond
 
Pretty clear to me. 22 starting players incorporating 4 on the bench. You can replace any of that 22, at any time (doesn’t have to be an injury) via a substitute named before the game.

Just need to be wary that if you make a substitution without injury, and then someone goes off permanently, you’re playing with 21 and not 22.
