Round 1 (2022) - other games

How many years has Grundy got left on his contract? He was a gun a few years ago but seems to have almost lost interest these days.

Pretty hard to stay hungry on a Million a year or whatever contract he's on :))

I reckon his body has suffered from rucking one out for those years too.

Like 4 days before our game and saying we'd lose by 22 points to the Blues.
sorry Tigerlove, I see your point re: this game. Mate, you are spot on, I've gone early! Wasnt watching the last 10 mins and bang, saints are close.

good call from you!

Jack Hayes greatest debut ever since .............................................. Dean Polo !!!!

In all seriousness kids a likely looking unit, Saints might've found one here.

How good has 26yo Jack Hayes been in his first game for the Saints.

I saw him in a state game playing for SA against WA at Optus stadium a few years ago, he impressed me them.

Fourteen disposals and 7 marks and 3 goals up to 3/4 time, I'm wrapped for him.

How about the 3 goals
There must be a million of these types out there but clubs get burnt if they draft anyone older then 21.
Pickett, Kelly, Podsalality, Milocheck, Frangalas all prove recruiting older players isn't the end of the world

And Bayley Fritsch gets picked by the Dees as 22 yo, a few years later he kicks 6 goals in a GF.
