Richmond v Brisbane QF: The Sequel

the confidence on here is 2018 like....

No it isn't.
We had Dusty doing fitness test's all week.
Astbury and a few others were crook the week leading into the game and we weren't peaking at that stage, our performances in the last month showed weren't any where near the form we were in when we beat the crows at the G.
This isn't confidence, this is reality.

Not from me. I'm quietly confident, but also been around long enough to know that even the best teams can have an off day.

Keeping it simple - If we bring the pressure game, we'll win. If we're off, it will be a struggle.

How good is it to be in the mix again? What I really love is that you can be pretty certain that no matter what we’ll bring the effort. Remember the days when you just did not know If our boys would show up for big game or not. Don’t know how many times I slowly walked the path of shame from the G to Jolimint frustrated that once again we just didn’t turn up for a big game. Not anymore. Effort is now our 1 wood and I for one would be shocked if we didn’t bring maximum effort vs Brisbane. I can’t seem them being able to match out intensity for a hole game....!

No one's cocky if anything it's the lions Robinson now back tracking and there coach both looses being a sore loser we kicked so many behinds and lend all the stats this and that yet you loss the game.

We a much better side since rd 10 gone up a notch playing alot better and with alot of key personal back from that game.

2018 was different. We were only just scraping through with close wins late in the season. This year feels like 2019. We are peaking when it matters.

Don’t mean it in an arrogant way , but I Don’t think we have peaked yet ,

Think we can still go to another level

nope. The end of 2018 we were just scraping in our wins. We peaked too early.

2020, we’ve belted Geelong and west coast going into finals.

What's giving me a bit more confidence this year is how we've lifted against the best sides every time. It's like we've still got gears.
The Port game we had no midfield and we got absolutely smoked out of the middle, but were still a chance to win in the last quarter on their home deck with all those injuries.
We've been building and adding parts over the last month or so, Nank, Bachar, Sheds, Graham. Hopefully Dion next. Most are rested.
We are very well placed but things can happen. Let's hope for no more injuries. Confident but far from cocky.

We are in the best shape going into finals in this era. We are building nicely and improving each week. I reckon we are going better than last year. If we beat Brisbane then everyone else will crap themselves at having to play us

To me Tigers appeared off song this season until last two games . Game against the Catters right from the start on song & belted the crap out of them. Crows same again & the Crows side were no pushovers despite their position on the ladder. We are now in the business end of the season where it counts. Do not think the Lions will be able to combat the pressure game the Tigers will apply right from he start. Tigers by 20 plus.
