Is pick 14 worth the same as 10?
Net gain
So if you look at the probability of a higher pick.
Would you prefer to be drafting someone at pick 10 or pick 14?
Would you rather be picking at 14 or 18. Same question
Of course, the answer is 10 - because there's 4 more players available to choose from at that pick.
Pick 10 is worth more than 14 because you're increasing your chances of getting a good player.
Yeah you just answered your own question. Pick 14 instead of 18
Let's say the Future 3rd is around pick 42 - allowing for some father sons and academy players, but us getting a near bottom finish.
Of the near 37 years of the draft - there's been 10 players play 100+ games. 1 player play 200+ (Bachar Houli).
If we came last F3 is p37. Still of value.
17 players have played less than 10 games, and most are 0 - although 2 of those players were drafted in 22 and 23, can be lenient
for those guys perhaps (Max Knobel & Luke Lloyd).

The future 3rd is like buying your dad a Tattslotto pack for father's day. You might have made him a millionaire. You might have also
made him walk 20 paces to the bin as well.
Jumbo jumbo and nothing to do with what I posted.
They aren't the same.
Of course they aren’t te same. I don’t know why you bothered writing it.

It’s easy to figure out the equivalent.
To get p10, 11 and 18 it cost us Bolton, p14 and a F3 which could be P 37+ it’s the net gain. Don’t worry about adding this, takin* that or Baker or whatever. This is the actual trade that was made. It’s not a gain of 10, 11, 18. It’s a nett result.

It’s like trading p6 and 18 and saying we gained p2. No, we netted p2 after losing p6 and 18.
Surely it’s not too hard to figure that out
