Richmond 2017 AFL Premiers

respect to all the tiger family members who departed this earth before Sept 30 2017.

I caught up with an Uncle at GF who was there witnessing his 6th premiership live.

hes 80, and is hoping to see 10 before he goes back to wherever he was before he was born. ;D

its funny how such a momentous occasion makes you think about passed-on loved ones. My dad didn't follow Richmond (he followed Fitzroy/Brisbane), but I thought about him while I was a Swan St pub after the game... he would have been ecstatic for me and my mum.

I was 9 in 1980.

My twins were 9 at the time of this year.'s GF.

Beautiful symmetry that their first football memory in years to come will be a Richmond premiership.

It's their birthday next week and my daughter got 2 guinea pigs for her birthday. Their names? Ravioli (that's her nickname for Dan Rioli) and Butters (after Dan Butler).

She's a tiger for life now.

good one pokey.

Heres hoping Butters and Ravioli are actually a breeding pair and you end up with an entire premiership team ;D

Craig Williams Melbourne Cup jockey being interviewed on 6PR at the moment & in his words " I am a massive Richmond supporter & I thought we were extinct ".

LOL I hear you. I have 4 year old twins. I call them.our contraception. No.way I could.go again. Also.not.possible as one or both of them invariably in my bed and sometimes me in there's!!

I’m still getting that moment when people are talking about winning a flag on the radio and I think *smile* it would be good to know that feeling, oh *smile* we have won and it was better then I could have imagined , still so bloody surreal

I was 16 mths old when we won in 1980. My Son was the same age to the month (we are 4 days away from sharing a birthday) when we won this year. Love the symmetry. Hopefully he sees a bit more success than I have throughout my living memory. :)

Love it.
I was 11 when we won in 1980.
My twins were 11 at this years.

One twin is on the dark side follows the Blues.
But he was awesome GF day came in his brothers Tigers gear and cheered us all the way.

There’s a couple of blokes in the 22 who had there critics when it came to the hard ball, however I didn’t see either of them or any of there teammates shirk one contest, make no mistake the Premiership team is one of the hardest 22 you’ll see.

Lucky you don't live in China.
They would have drowned your Carlton supporting son at birth!

Roar vision allows me to get the goosebumps again and again, I love Kane Lambert's recollections.
