Retire / Trade / Delist

Carltank did it with Jack Martin 2 seasons ago? Granted it was Carltank but nonetheless Norf has been desperate for a "big fish" forever with cash to burn and the first pick to boot. If CCJ & Norf want each other then there's a fair chance of it happening.

That was due to GC trying to make a point though.

If he chooses North though, don't expect a great return. Maybe only Pick 38 :vomit

If it was the other way around what would you offer for Coleman Jones?
38 is about right.
He isn't a first rounder quality.
Just another dud pick after Higgins
The 2017 draft has been a fken nightmare.
I can see the head lines,
"Why are Richmond's kids always leaving?"

It's funny this year all list decisions have been hush hush.
The cone of silence over punt rd

You are way too harsh on the 2017 draft.

Higgins - Look I still don't see this being a failed pick. Jack was brilliant in his 1st season and a half. If people want to bag the recruiting team for an undiagnosed health condition then go for it but its hardly their fault. We don't even know what we have got back for Jacks trade being as both picks attached to his trade are in this years draft. Once we see who we pick with the Geelong pick (which was the upgraded 1st last year) and with Saints 2nd then we can start to review.

CJ - I fail to see how this pick was a bad one. He's looked good this year. If he chooses to go back to Adelaide, thats his choice to go back to family, but I will be disappointed in him if he chooses to move to North. That would be highly disappointing. If he goes to GCS I believe we will get a much better deal, they don't have many spots on their list, potentially their 1st and Uwland (or however you spell it) so they may undervalue their draft picks this year.

Balta - Surely you don't see Baltas recruitment as part of a nightmare.

Naish - Unfortunately just not good enough

Miller - Judgement still out on Ben for me. I expect he will still be on our list next year

Baker - One of the best rookie picks we have ever taken along with Short / Lambert and the like.

I get that you enjoy hindsight drafting, but how many teams nail every pick, very few. It sure makes a difference if you nail a specific trade / draft period (us in 2016 and the Dees over the last 2 years are excellent examples of that).

I wonder if Concs will get a 3rd club? Naish to Scumwood under Fly could be a possibility.

jb and tigertim said "No", but what's not good about Cuz from Horforn?

Thank god for the rookie/ pre-season draft
George, Stack, Grimes, Baker, Pickett and Nahas

Your not getting a pick under 15 let alone a top 3 pick for Coleman Jones
No harm in dreaming big though is there? #lolnorf might move a few places up the ladder next year n they'll be hanging out for a ready ruck to replace Goldilocks by the end of 2022.

I know others have mentioned him, but I would be asking the bulldogs about Ed Richards. Our new wingman. I would offer up a second round pick. He has height, pace, upside.
Butchers the ball too often for my liking. Can't afford these types under the new rules

Not worth 2nd rounder if he can't get a game

Baker - One of the best rookie picks we have ever taken along with Short / Lambert and the like. What about Nathan Foley?

Whats the knock on Charlie Constable?

In his 2nd AFL game he got 31 possessions, 5 clearances a goal and 4 tackles.

Is it his disposal? Or does Salty just not rate him?
