gotta love the irony of lauding the ignore function then discussing the supposedly blocked poster anyway. it happens often on here.

posters can easily be ignored without the ignore function. i suspect many still read the comments of those on their ignore list....or maybe they don't have them on ignore as claimed. one poster has made it known he has me on ignore but he still mysteriously knows plenty about what i post and who i vote for.

if people keep changing footy threads to discussion about their ignore list the function will have the same fate as the karma one and people can exercise a bit of old-fashioned will power to ignore others.

ignore is not meant to be a means of bullying and humiliating, initiating negative discussion about an individual poster or changing discussion away from the topic of the thread. it seems 'ignore list' and 'ignore poster' have quite different meanings for some and ignore doesn't necessarily mean ignore..

there's an element of pots and black kettles and stones in glass houses happening here. it would be interesting to see how some would react if they were the ones singled out for mass bullying and harassment. no doubt some are better at dishing it out than taking it.

blah yourself. there are several people singling one person out for negative attention and it's happened on several threads. it's personal sniping rather than discussing actual opinions. nobody knows how that kind of behaviour can affect another person. even if it has no affect on one person it might on another. it's not acceptable behaviour on pre and it adds nothing to the football discussion.

I've been accused, in my very short time on PRE, of picking my targets!
I sincerley hope I'm not being accused of bullying & harrassment.

Anyone who is constantly negative & disparaging off the club, staff & players I will respond to. I try to do it with humour & at least attempt to get them to explain exactly why they feel this way.
As for zips, he has as much right as anyone to post whatever he likes as long as it doesn't get to personal, but zips does throw a lot of crap around & therefore he must expect a bit back!

Love a bit of banter as much as the next person.
