might else well finish bottom 4.
They haven't got what it needs to win a flag.
I once heard David King say who rebuilds by recruiting defenders (ie Lever & May)
He might be right, that Melbourne forward line is bottom 4 quality

Yeah, Nuh. I see the same issues, fwd line can barely kick 10 goals a game, relying on Beavis Fritsch.
Sit on May/Lever and you’ve pretty much solved the puzzle.
They’re a little bit dim at the Dees I think.

Their forward line is horrendous. And then there’s their last 7 or 8 picked. They’re decidedly ordinary.

To be fair to Melbourne in 2018 they got to a PF, they were pretty good that year but the real weakness, and one you could see before the finals, was defence.

They plugged the hole which was identified.

I'm not sure they are the real deal yet, they're close though.

Am I the only one surprised to realise blues v's pies game is being played in Melb while tigers had to play home game in QLD and both Ess & North also has to Play in QLD? Have I missed something?

Abbey Holmes struggling. Had mihocek with 4 goals. He has one. Has 4 marks. Saad had an injured right. Failed to mention ankle.
