QF Game Day - Richmond vs Brisbane Lions

Has anyone else noticed that Houli’s kicks are pretty much “pot luck”. Frustrates the hell out of me, because he can usually play the ball to good advantage when gets on to his preferred foot.
Houli is not enjoying this game, the physical pressure is intense and he needs time and space to kick and handball effectively.

The 1st half stats are interesting.
We are getting smashed in around 90% of the major statistical categories.

Lions winning free kicks 17-13. That is alot of free kicks. Some of the calls and non calls have been pretty bad tonight.

And yet that flog Darcy claimed we’re getting the rub of the green.

How are we in front?

Hate to say it but when Nank & Soldo are on the ground and Nank rucks , no good.

Soldo was tremendous that quarter.

Our midfield started seeing the ball. Coincidence? Edwards needs to be in there more often. Prestia, Graham, Lambert all lifted.

Cotch was the catalyst. Dusty lifted second half.

Still some players( will not name them) panic and I’m finding myself screaming ‘ don’t give him the ball’.

Our F50 pressure much better. Two beautiful goals from Shai & Rioli.

What a mark from Shai.

Look they have missed shots and we are still not hit out straps.

I wanted a lift in pressure, tackling & intensity and it was on show that quarter.

Got to do someone about Hodge & Rayner. He could break the game second half.

Huge second half coming up in the context of our finals campaign.

Got to come out and continue the same work rate .

Can anyone tell me what draft number Cam Rayner was taken at?

Shai’s mark and goal were eye catching, as was the time he slipped and had the agility to get to his feet and continue on. How does anyone do that?

Reckon we still need to lift our intensity and pressure. It looks as though Brisbane is leading us in these areas. If we can get back to the pressure game for which we are renowned we will win.

We need dusty to get more ball, if he puts his mark on this game , it could be the difference
