Premier League 2022/2023/2024/2025

Ange is among the speculated favourites for the job. Would continue a very strong Australian legacy at the club.
Ali McCoist on radio this morning was joking that he would drive up to Glasgow and get him personally. Ali being a Rangers legend puts it into some context as to why.

As well as Ange, Marcelo Beilsa’s head assistant from his time at Leeds is among the speculated favourites. As well as a return of Beilsa himself.

I suppose a win with 10 men for most of the match is good, but ffs, that Southampton goal they gave up in the first half was some of the worst defending you’d ever see at EPL level.

mmm, them pesky facts again :)

Still a lonnnggg way to go

Sure is, Liverpool could still squeak into 4th. You can't trust Spurs, and it's great to see even Brighton and Fulham are in with a shot at Champions League, and almost certs for the Europa League.

But that Real loss was their worst at home in Euro competition EVER, and now they have to go to the Bernabeu where they'll get tonked unless Real go two up and just cruise it. Just depends on their mindset from now, that loss will really hurt.

Meanwhile ManU come from behind to beat Barca and march on in the Europas. Could be Ten Hag's first English silverware this weekend in the Carabao Cup against an out-of-form Newcastle.

Liverpool could be playing for their season when MU visit in early March.

ETH has done a fine job (sadly) in quick time since the early season maulings. They're the form club of 2023 to date. It's not unreasonable to think they're a chance to be champions if Arsenal & Man City continue to have
the 'hiccups' experienced recently.

That said, Arsenal's display & resolve at Villa was impressive. That they can concentrate totally on the league should be a huge benefit
