Jeremy McGovern and Josh Kennedy both carrying injuries and are in doubt this week against the Cats

Got to say i don't really rate Collingwood.
Seem to be a bit like us last year, just getting over the line.
Managed to hold off a poor Geelong team that went in with no ruckman by 10pts
Managed to beat a poor essendrugs team that was missing their best 5 players by 11pts

Reckon they are close to copping a huge belting.

after watching their game on friday night, i came to the conclusion that neither are any match for us. Brisbane or GWS will be a sneaky chance against them.

If our opponent ends up being WC, it would mean they would’ve had to travel across the country twice in a 7 day period. By the time we play them in the PF, they would have to be totally knackered.
Either way I’m not worried about any of these teams in the slightest.
Dont forget it would be the Cats 3rd trip to Melbourne in 3 weeks. The WEagles would handle the travel better.

wow that's big.

In this case, it will be Scott's to lose, which isnt very reassuring if you want Geelong to win as I do.

Agree - after getting pumped by us their run home was Suns, Dees, Crows and Bombers. Last weeks other QF I don’t think is strong form.

From what I've seen over the last few weeks it's us and than daylight.
The only thing that can stop us is ourselves.
We are far and away the best team in the comp.
I don't care who we play. Either way we will trounce them.

I tend to agree Zgod.

Hopefully the club has banned players from eating anything out of a bain marie for the next 3 weeks.

The supposed ‘weaker’ side of the draw is interesting.

I think GWS are building as a genuine smoky.

Pound for pound, they are better than Brisbane and Collingwood.

Naturally, a Richmond GWS grand final would be party time for us. Imagine the salt around town.

I can't see GWS beating Brisbane. they will be better for the run and don't have a Grimes to stop Cameron.

If that happens I reckon Brisbane v Collingwood would be a very interesting match up. I can see Brisbane winning that. If that happens do we really have to play them a third time? Geez, haven't we already proved we can beat them ;)

Yeah its an interesting one. a week ago I thought we were in the tough side, but not so sure now.

WC - lost last 2 games H&A, which almost aways precludes you as a contender. Essendon form is rubbish. Wobbling.
Cats - arguably the most fraudulent minor premier since Port Adelaide? I think they will play there GF against WC and fall over against us.
Brisbane - Much improved, but simply not a contender. A star KPF, KPD and 2 damaging mids away from being serious.
GWS - unprecedentedly pea-hearted football team. Dangerous? yes. Trustworthy? no. Lots of prelim experience.

Collingwood - post bye form line underwhelming. Only just 2 kicks better than a fairly deplorable Geelong. DeGoey makes me fear them, and he is gone.

Richmond - Peaking, fit, hungry. Have a tough well-lubricated finals gearbox. Have Dusty in equal career best form.

In conclusion, I reckon there's 5 sides on the tough side of the draw, and us.

Haynes is a super player. So is Phil Davis. So is Zach Wliiams.

I reckon GWS win this one.

Pies V GWS, Tigers V Cats for me

Pies and GWS bash the *smile* out of each other. Cats capitulate.
