AFL has confirmed the game is on Friday night 7.50pm start. Is there any confirmation of whether our game will be the Friday or Saturday and what time?
its gonna be a long 10 days
Got to say i don't really rate Collingwood.
Seem to be a bit like us last year, just getting over the line.
Managed to hold off a poor Geelong team that went in with no ruckman by 10pts
Managed to beat a poor essendrugs team that was missing their best 5 players by 11pts
Reckon they are close to copping a huge belting.
I'm actually going along on Friday night to watch the Cats v Eagles, should be fun and relaxing!True, but it is nice to relax & sit back over the weekend & watch the teams hopefully go hard at each other!
Dont forget it would be the Cats 3rd trip to Melbourne in 3 weeks. The WEagles would handle the travel better. If our opponent ends up being WC, it would mean they would’ve had to travel across the country twice in a 7 day period. By the time we play them in the PF, they would have to be totally knackered.
Either way I’m not worried about any of these teams in the slightest.
Jeremy McGovern and Josh Kennedy both carrying injuries and are in doubt this week against the Cats
Agree - after getting pumped by us their run home was Suns, Dees, Crows and Bombers. Last weeks other QF I don’t think is strong form.Got to say i don't really rate Collingwood.

From what I've seen over the last few weeks it's us and than daylight.
The only thing that can stop us is ourselves.
We are far and away the best team in the comp.
I don't care who we play. Either way we will trounce them.

The supposed ‘weaker’ side of the draw is interesting.
I think GWS are building as a genuine smoky.
Pound for pound, they are better than Brisbane and Collingwood.
Naturally, a Richmond GWS grand final would be party time for us. Imagine the salt around town.
I can't see GWS beating Brisbane. they will be better for the run and don't have a Grimes to stop Cameron.
