With Pick 51 Collingwood Select Kaleb Smith from East Fremantle
Kaleb won the 20m sprint & placed 3rd in the agility test. One of this draft's most damaging rebounding defenders, Smith is a line breaker with speed and power who aggressively takes on the game with ball in hand and hurts opposition sides with his penetrating kick.

Name: Jaxon Binns
Height: 182cm
Weight: 73kgs
Club: Dandenong Stingrays
Position: Forward, Wing
One of the hardest runners in this year’s AFL Draft crop.
Finishing top 3 in agility testing & the 2km time trial at the recent National Combine trials.
The Dandenong Stingrays prospect has made a name for himself as a prolific outside midfielder, with the capacity to translate his best traits as a high half-forward.
Finds plenty of his own footy, is an elite two way runner with good defensive traits & has the ability to hit the scoreboard. Very much sought after skills in today's AFL format.
Perceived area for improvement is field kicking hence his draft position but is also a good finisher around goal.
Is a Tiger supporter.

Pick 53 - Richmond select Tom Scully.
Height: 202cm Weight: 89kg
Good key position prospect to have develop in the reserves over the next12 - 18 months and hopefully follow a similar path to that of Samson Ryan.
He was on fire early in the season booting 37 goals from 7 games. Ended up kicking 50 for the year. A recent convert from soccer so has plenty of development left in him.
His strengths are his aerial ability, mobility and hits the scoreboard from limited opportunities. Plenty of upside left in him and with the right development could be the steal of the draft.

I think he's referring to the Tom Scully drafted by Melbourne
I was also tempted to go Verrall here. Just thought Scully has more upside and not sure if Verrall is more suited down back than as a forward.
Scully has only recently come into the game after playing soccer. Huge amount of development left in him.
@bullus_hit just in relation to your phantom draft have 53 players been picked up until and including Richmond’s pick? I thought with some matching of bids, Richmond’s 1st pick would have come in before 53 ?
The pick hit a maximum of 49 before sliding back again. The real benefit seems to be any picks stationed immediately behind Brisbane, the Bulldogs were winners in this regard. North Melbourne seemed to benefit as well.
I'd love to pick Sydney Stack here. From a talent and needs perspective he's a perfect fit for GWS. But I can't ignore that if they wanted him he'd be there already as part of the Hopper or Taranto trades. It seems obvious Kingsley doesn't want him, so in the interest of authenticity, I won't pick him. However I reserve the right if and when he comes good to remind everyone that I always backed him in and there'd be a place at my footy club for him. But I'm not privy to the day-to-day so it's easy for me to say. (I think I've covered all bases there.)
I would have been keen on Ryan here if he hadn't been Scooped up, or Pascu or Magor. But with Cumming emerging, Fahey coming through and our (my) plan to shift Ash back into defence we should be okay for running backs, with Hotton and Allan also options to begin their careers there. With Taylor, Aleer and Buckley along with Himmelberg, we're okay for key defenders too.
Nick Haynes turns 31 next year and we might be looking to dump his salary if we can. Regardless, we could probably do with a developing intercept marker, so I'll go with:
54. Tom McCallum.
The 192cm, 82kg (there ya go @caesar ) lad from Jack Riewoldt territory in Clarence caught the eye as a clean-marking, neat-using, quick, no-fuss versatall across half-back for the Allies, averaging 17 disposals. Made the bench of the NAB League Team of the Year after a solid season for the Devils.
